Looking Back:
Without his pokéball Brendan decides to try being friendly. It's not like he's actually done anything to make the poochyena angry. Unfortunately for Brendan, wild pokémon seem to always be in a very aggressive mood (why else would they attack everyone that walks by). It might be a little hard to tell but in panel 4 the poochyena is biting Brendan's hand. Also, without pokémon of your own to fight with, there really isn't much you can do to combat wild pokémon (at least not in the games). If all your pokémon get KO'd you faint and end up at a Pokémon Center with half your money gone. The main character in the games must be real wimps, fainting if all their pokémon get KO'd. None of the hundreds of random trainers in the game do that. |
