Looking Back:
This is one of those strips that I'd really like to redo to fix the crappy special effects. Other than that though, I like how it plays out and it seems to be a bit of a fan favorite. If you can't tell what's going on, the poochyena is still clamped on to Brendan's hand from the last strip. He shakes his arm, trying to get it off, and it goes flying. The poochyena hits the a passing wingull and they fall into torchic's pokéball, knocking it down from the tree and releasing torchic. And, if you're wondering, yes torchic does get experience points for this. |
