| Looking Back: As I mentioned in the previous strip's commentary, ralts is rather rare. Wally was extremely lucky to run into one right off the bat. It took me quite a while to find one for myself (not three hours though). In retrospect, May probably should have been the one to insist they stay long enough to find ralts for themselves, rather than Brendan, since she's generally far more gung-ho about these things than he is... You may also notice that ralts is capitalized in this strip, which is rather unusual since I decided early on not to capitalize pokémon names (my reasoning being that you don't capitalize the names of animal types such as dog or cat). Capitalizing ralts here was a mistake. |
