| Looking Back: And here we have Professor Birch's lab again. Despite the simple single color floor and wall I was using at this point (as opposed to the nice textured ones that show up later in the comic), I really like the way the background sprites are laid out in the various lab strips. The look ended up being exactly what I wanted. When you think about it, the Professor's statement in the last panel pretty much sums up what you're doing in all the main Pokémon games. Sure you're trying to become a pokémon master but the main goal has always been to complete the pokédex. "Gotta Catch 'em All" and all that. And it's the professors that get the credit for said pokédex projects. Not really fair is it? |
