And Brendan wins the battle, mostly thanks to torchic and its decision to use focus energy in the last strip. At least Brendan figured out how to use a potion correctly on his second try. May tries to get in a potion of her own but isn't quite fast enough. This is also the first strip to not have any joke. Being a humor comic, I try to put a joke in just about every Pebble Version strip but sometimes there really isn't any place for one, especially when I'm trying to advance a battle or something like that. Still, I do my best to keep these 'no-joke' comics as rare as possible. |
