Looking Back:
Starting the battle with a weak pokémon and then immediately swapping it with a better one to help level up pokémon. At least in the older games (the newer ones added a fancier EXP Share that removes the need for that strategy). But you do give your opponent a free hit, so it's not an especially good idea in more difficult battles. And if battles were in real-time, that would make things even more complicated. |
