Looking Back:
All things considered, we should be glad that pokémon only require a short cutscene in order to evolve, as opposed to millions of years. That'd make for one really boring game. On a side note, scientifically speaking, what pokémon do really isn't evolution so much as metamorphosis, like how caterpillars become butterflies. Which is a very apt comparison for pokémon like cascoon here. |
