| Looking Back: In the games, this guy asks you what's hip and trendy on the mainland. I can understand that. Well, sorta. I mean, he could just learn by watching TV or using a computer, seeing as those both exist in the Pokémon world. Or he even travel to the mainland, considering that the island really isn't that away. A relatively quick surf or an even quicker flight would cover the distance. Anyway, you can tell the guy whatever you want and he'll take your word as the absolute truth. So, of course, he'd gladly believe Xain's boasting. But he'd be just as quick to believe the next person who came along as well. So, sadly, Xain's reputation as the hippest and trendiest thing around didn't very long. |
