Looking Back:
All that for a magikarp. That's pretty much sums up fishing in the Pokémon games. I mean, you don't always catch magikarp (at least once you get better rods), but you'll spend far more time fishing up tons of weak pokémon like them than actually catching what you want. But hey, magikarp are easy to catch and useful if you need a bunch of trade bait to move pokémon between games. On that note, I am so glad we have Bank now. Catching hundreds of magikarp and trading them to move my collection from game to game was ridiculously dull and time consuming. |
