Looking Back:
And torchic officially becomes Brendan's first pokémon. Although Professor Birch's offer doesn't exactly have a catch, he really likes asking for favors. Especially ones that involve other people doing his work for him, something you'll be seeing more of later on. See Brendan's eyes in the last panel? This isn't the first time I used that narrowed eyes expression although later on I use more pixels to make it a bit more obvious. It's a pretty useful expression, especially with the type of humor used in Pebble Version. |
