Looking Back:
Brendan and May haven't gotten too much experience with TMs and HMs yet, so Brendan isn't quite as wary of them as he is later in the comic. One goal I had with HMs, as opposed to TMs, was to show that as the kind of thing that could be re-used. As for the creature that comes out of that HM, it's Slash Man (from the Mega Man series). In retrospect, I have no idea why I went with him over the much more appropriately named Cut Man. |
