Looking Back:
I know some people like those single use temporary stat boosting items but I never saw the point of them (other than to sell). Speaking as a game designer, a good level design tip is that if you make the player go out of their way to get somewhere or find something, it should provide a reward that's worth the effort. Unfortunately, I can name a number of major titles which don't do so. |
