Here's another of my strategies for fitting four motion blurs in two panels. You may have noticed that I usually double the size of the characters in their motion blurs. That helps them better fill out the space and lets readers get a closer look at them. Early on, I used to do a lot of strips entirely at 200% magnification. However, I soon discovered that I just couldn't fit much in a panel at that size, so started keeping everything at the default size and saving 200% for special occasions, like motion blurs. |
