#175 A lesson in evolution
First Comic Previous Comic Next Comic Today's Comic
Looking Back:
While most of my readers are pretty familiar with the Pokémon games, anime, or the like, I decided to include this explanation for those who aren't. As a side note, May's line in the last panel is a reference to one of the first sprite comics, Bob & George. In B&G, the author frequently popped in and out of the comic. Whenever the characters started complaining about something that didn't make much sense, the author would say that a wizard did it. While B&G was one of my inspirations for PV, I didn't copy too much of its style. However, I used the author's sprite comic making tutorial as a reference when first starting out and advertised on B&G for a short time to help build up an initial audience.
