Looking Back:
In the previous comment, I mentioned that pokémon can only communicate by saying their name. But it makes a lot more sense if you think that the pokémon were named after the sounds they make.
When I originally started on Pebble Version, I planned to have a lot of pokémon spend most of their time outside their pokéballs, much like Ash's pikachu in the anime. However, that plan didn't last all that long. The main reason? Adding pokémon and pokéspeak to each strip would require a lot of extra work and I only have so much time to spend on these things. Besides, as I show in my Pokéwalkers mini-series, there are some pokémon you really don't want following you around.




Pokemon and all related images and trademarks are copyrighted by Nintendo, one of my favorite games companies who would certainly never waste their time by trying to sue me.
