Looking Back:
This was a fun strip since I got to make fun of an old RPG convention, namely the ability to just walk into anyone's house, anytime, anywhere. And then you get to take their stuff. Well, not really in Pokémon since the people rarely have anything to steal, er take. I mean how would you like it if some random stranger just walked right in your front door?
Notice how May's mom never looks away from the TV? There's a very good reason for that (and it's not that I didn't have the right sprite). More on that in the commentary for the next strip. Also, if you don't recognize it, the little sweat drop Brendan has in panel four is quite common in anime. It's mostly used to indicate when the person is embarrassed and also if someone else says something particularly dumb or embarrassing.
