Looking Back:
Though I was starting to learn Photoshop, I still didn't know much aside from how to play with some of the filters, so nearly everything was still done in MS Paint. So, time for a play by play, since it's a bit hard to figure out just by looking at the comic, especially with some of those effects... First off, unable to lose its pursuers, mew fights back with psychic. Flygon counters and hits mew with hyper beam in the second panel while dragonite readies a thunder punch. Then, taking advantage of its opponents' quadruple weakness to ice attacks (seeing as both dragonite and flygon are combo dragon/flying pokémon), mew uses blizzard, which freezes them both. And, being frozen, they can't really fly anymore so they're falling back towards the ground in the last panel. And yeah, you'd think seeing both of your pokémon plummeting out of the sky while encased in big blocks of ice would make it pretty obvious that you're losing the battle. |
