What? I just wanted to know if it snows that early in Canada. Now I know that It's only an icebox in the far north of Canada.
Um, my grandparents in New York {that's part of the US} have snow already, so yeah, it snows that early.

Actually, I wanted to know what the traditional Thanksgiving is like up there. Do you guys eat turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce then sit in front of the TV and fall asleep watching football too?
Yes for turkey, no to everything else. Except for some replace football with hockey.

Now. I've never got the answer to this, why is canadian bacon called "bacon" and not "ham"?

We call it "back bacon" up here. What makes it different from regular ham is the way it's cooked: back bacon is pickled, then fried in a pan. Regular ham is usually smoked. As for why it's called bacon, I have no idea.

I've heard somewhere that there are hardly any rats in Alberta due to a government program. So 1) is that true, and 2) if so, how did they do it?

Being Albertian:

1. Mostly. Vampires help keep us rat-free (I drew a picture like that in my sketchbook. XD), but if we see a rat, we kill it. There was a rat at the airport once, and my dad ran over it.

2. On the border there is a rat patrol. Could the government be doing anything better with their money? Yes. But it is nice not having rats.

As I said, not during the 2010 Olympics if you're moving to the west.
