I've heard somewhere that there are hardly any rats in Alberta due to a government program. So 1) is that true, and 2) if so, how did they do it?

1. Mostly. Vampires help keep us rat-free (I drew a picture like that in my sketchbook. XD), but if we see a rat, we kill it. There was a rat at the airport once, and my dad ran over it.
2. On the border there is a rat patrol. Could the government be doing anything better with their money? Yes. But it is nice not having rats.
