Looking Back:
How many times have you seen this happen? Someone gets their ball, frisbee, or whatever stuck up in a tree. It's out of reach so someone else suggests throwing something else (another ball, shoes, etc) at it to knock it down. Seems like a good plan, right? Well yeah... Except that sometimes the thing you're throwing gets stuck as well and then you've got two things up in the tree instead of one. That's why it's better to find some other way to get the stuck object down (like prodding it with a long stick). Or, if you have to throw something, grab a rock or some other thing that you don't care about losing. Unfortunately, no one in this comic thought about that. |
