Looking Back:
In the games, there's really no reason for this guy to be blocking the entrance to the rest house. I mean, he got chased out of the tunnel by Team Aqua/Magma, so that explains why he isn't there. But shouldn't he go report that to the police? And even if he's too lazy to contact the authorities and just wants to sit around and complain, wouldn't it make more sense to do that inside the rest house? There isn't even a gameplay reason since there is absolutely nothing important in there that needs to wait until after you advance the story. It's just totally pointless. |
