Looking Back:
This is right out of the games. Well, except for that bit about Bag Corp. There's a side path in this area you can follow by cutting down a bush and, for all your trouble, you find a sign with a tip about bags. That might have been somewhat useful if it was at the beginning of the game. But several hours in? I think most people figured out how the bag works long before reaching this sign. But Pokémon is hardly the only game series guilty of positioning its tips and/or tutorials long after they would have been useful. For examples, I can think of a number of games that don't pop up their battle system tutorial until after you've been forced to fight (and win) several battles. Really, how do you mess that up?
