| Looking Back: I think it was around this time that I expanded my collection of Brendan and May sprites to include a few extra poses. Sitting was one of them, so I decided to put it to good use. I actually had a fan write and say how much she liked seeing the pair of them sitting on the fountain like that. Aside from showing off some new sprites, my goal with this strip was to start developing Brendan and May's relationship a little beyond their typical trainer banter, something I've continued to work on periodically throughout the comic. Not that there isn't some trainer related banter here as well... |
