And it's the first TM comic. These have become a running gag and it all started here. In the games, using a TM isn't in anyway dramatic, your pokémon just magically learns the move (Matrix style, I suppose). I wanted something more fun, so my TMs actually perform the move in some way (usually a rather dangerous way). When trying to think of what would be suitable for a move involving spitting seeds, the first thing that came to mind was ukiki, the seed spitting monkeys from Yoshi's Island. So I decided it would hurt to give them a cameo. |
