| Looking Back: Some pokémon could be rather inconvenient to have around at times. But hey, torchic would likely make a great substitute for a camp fire on those nights outside. I'm sure torchic wasn't too happy about being doused, but it knows better than to fight back against a water type when it doesn't have too. I used a lens flare effect for torchic shining in the dark. It works, but it looks more like torchic is carrying a flashlight than using some sort of fire move. But this strip was done before I figured out how to do the whole glowing fire effect I use later on in the comic. |
