Network computers? Ehh, that'll work. Ryan said. He walked to the elevators and went to 998. There, he spotted some computers. He spyed an empty seat and slid into it, and booted up the computer. It was very strange, the keys were all in alien letters, however, he found a language function and set it to english, which changed the keyboard and the letters on the screen. He went to Google, which redirected him to "Google: Universal Version". Man, Google franchised past the Earth as well? Ah whatever. he said to himself. He did a quick search on Portal Panic, and found the game's official site.

Troy eventually stopped playing the badminton-like sport after he nearly twisted his ankle avoiding a sinkhole, and returned to floor 583 in a significantly better mood then when he had left. Entering, he also noticed that there were more people than when he left. "Yo." He greeted as he walked past, plopped down on the couch, pulled The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy out of his backpack, and read.

"Well for some unknown reason. I love it!" Kaida answered as she sat down cross-legged. Next to Sanlon "I mean what are the chances of ever meeting an alien, since Earths so primitave and all compared to all this. That and this resort pawns any others I've been to."

"You are very lucky. We all are. Many would do anything for a chance to be on Portal Panic. But do not let your guard down. The first round was just a warm up, the next area will be much more difficult and, while some other teams will be friendly, many won't. Deaths in the game are extremely rare but injuries are not."

"You should hope so." she replied. "I could just be lolling you into a false sense of security. Or I might just like helping new players. This is my second time as a Portal Panic contestant. This game can make you quite paranoid after a while if you're not careful."

After Gary appoligised to the wet aliens, he walked up to kaida and said, "Hey Kaida, how's it going? Oh, hello," he said to the blue alien, "whats your name?"

"Oh, Gary this is Sanlon, Sanlon this is Gary, he wasn't in the first round. And I guess I'll have to be careful then." Kaida said introducing the two.

The effects of the Time Warp lingered after Round 2 ended. While in the lounge, Gary visited Shana (and discovered that her team had won a lifetime supply of sporks), some new members joined the Earth Team, and Neo discovered that the cube he'd been carrying was GAINryon series Eternity Cube, which could be used to store inorganic objects and retrieve them later. It could also be used to manipulate their structure, but he hadn't managed to figure out how to do that before Round 3 started.

"Don't tell him, Kaida! He's probably an evil enemy spy or the bad guy's long lost twin brother! On top of that, he's got weird underwear!" Silver shouted at the televesion screen. Waiting around the Portal Panic Lounge wasn't nearly as exciting as going to Super Happy Fun Fun Land, but he was keeping himself pretty well entertained by treating his team's escapades like a soap opera.

"And you! Anything that resembles a giant turtle with arms is bound to be malicious!"

As Silver was watching TV a button suddenly began flashing on his remote. Out of curiosity, he clicked it. Suddenly the picture on the screen switched to Hostly.

"What's this?!?" he was excited, as always. "It looks like a member of the Earth Team has won a lucky switch bonus! For those of you out of the loop, every round, several teams who have spare players waiting in the lounge are given a shot at winning a lucky switch! If they push button in time, they get the opportunity to switch places with a random member of their team! If the new player has been paying attention, it can be a big boost to the winning team! And the lucky winner who will be joining his friends in Super Happy Fun Fun Land? It's Silver! Silver suddenly saw himself on the screen. He'll be replacing..." a quick roulette appeared on the screen. "Saku! That means Saku will be returning to the Lounge while Silver will be given his item and power and transported to the exact spot where Saku was in Super Happy Fun Fun Land! So, get ready Silver, cause here you go!!!"

The startled Silver suddenly found himself tumbling through a portal... *To be continued in the Round 3 thread.*
