Boss Battle: Ragnarok

"Oh, no... He's repairing himself!", Artemis realized. She had to think fast before the last of her damage was gone. A thought popped into her mind and she once again held hand out at Ragnarok. "I'll just have to freeze them for a while... Conglaciation!" Her necromancy caused a swirling storm of snow and frost within the cybernetic body, which froze gears, mechanisms, jammed electrical signals, and whatever else it could get to. She hoped that it would slow him down and impair his movement for just a bit. With her sword poised for a swift strike, she flew at him.

Rag closed his eyes, then opened them as Artemis flew at him. He dodged to the side, and sent his metallic leg to her side. "Please, my scientists thought of everything when they designed me."

Ragnarok was suddenly teleported to the same spot except facing the other way right before his kick could connect to Artemis.
"Not this I'm afraid. *Giggles*"

Yuki was just watching all that was happening. "Everything huh? I wonder..." Yuki dashed towards Ragnarok and swung at him with her sword. Ragnarok obviously teleported before he could be hit. After he disappeared, Yuki turned around, dashing to a seemingly random spot, and swung her sword again. Ragnarok appear again close enough for the sword to just form a cut on his cheek. "It works!" she said shocked.

Artemis retaliated from the close proximity she was in with Ragnarok. Her ice, fire, and vitae had all been repaired by then. She looked at her sword and decided to change its form, courtesy of Sally. The sword melded within her hand and took the shape of a long bow. An arrow also appeared and she quickly prepared to fire it, sighting down her arm. She was hoping that Yuki would be enough of a distraction to keep Ragnarok from noticing her. Her aim was the entry point in his shoulder that he had created himself. After pulling the string taught, she fired the arrow in a flawless shot.

Rag brought his hand up, touching his cheek. "Hmm. Very good. Maybe I'll have to kick it up a notch?" He queryed to himself softly. He nodded." Yes." He spread his arms, beginning to glow black as he started to change forms, turning into a demonic-looking figure, almost pitch black.

This was fear, this was darkness. He reached up, grabbing the arrow, and snapping it in half.

"Bring it on."

"I guess I should kick myself and my allies up a notch...or three."

Hir bowl of popcorn vanished in a small puff of white smoke while a grin formed on Sally's face. Shi stood up and lifted one arm in the air to channel the power of light through hir allies, making them glow faintly with a pure white aura.

"Buff, check...debuff? Not check...yet."

(Artemis and Yuki can now use their attacks aligned with light instead of whatever alignment they had before, they're also stronger, tougher, faster and regenerate. Yuki is still way weaker than Ragnarok though, but Artemis comes closer.)

(Obviously, cause Yuki only just learned Bankai... and also, her original aligment was wind. So I guess it's kinda ok.)

Yuki looked at herself, "Oh... Shiny!!" she said. She looked at Ragnarok, and rushed over for an attack, but hesitated for a bit before she struck, causing her to miss, "Scary..." she said, running away from the battle field.

(Yuki return!! Well, I'm outta this battle for a bit but, I'll be back. If this boss battles still up when my stronger character is available. I can't send Spirn cause... he ain't himself... and Shinu's in a battle... oh well)

Artemis cursed softly as Ragnarok caught the arrow and snapped it. Then she also watched as Yuki turned and departed from the battlefield, leaving only herself and Sally to take on the cyborg. Ah well, at least her alignment had been switched to that of the Light. Perhaps now she could inflict all of her previous damage and more. She summoned another arrow, composed entirely of searing light, and drew back the bow string once more. This time, there would be a lot more force behind the shot. Within a few seconds, the arrow soared through the air towards Ragnarok, aimed at the same target as before.

The demonic ragnarok just stood where he was. He waved his arm as the arrow flew at him, causing it to pretty much explode. After the 'smoke' was cleared, he was no longer standing in the same spot.

He had quickly moved behind Artemis, and was in the middle of firing a dark beam at her back

Artemis was aware of the immediate danger behind her and quickly transformed the bow into a sword of light, similar to the sword she always fought with. Before Ragnarok could finish and deal out his attack, she turned in the air and sliced her blade at him. "Get away from me!"

Sally kept watching the duo duke it out, not worried one bit at Yuki's cowardice. "Her lost." Shi though.
Artemis was busy...so how could shi help?
Thinking, shi quickly accumulated power from the whole galaxy surrounding hir while waiting for an idea to strike hir.

The creature disappeared once more before the blade could hit, and appeared behind her once more, firing the beam

Artemis turned in just enough time to jump in the air, dodging the beam, and swing her sword into the beam's path so that it was deflected back at Ragnarok.
