Looking for Opinions

I was thinking that there's a huge gap between the Forum Awards and the next big event, RP Week. We've currently got three big yearly events on the forums. The Forum Awards, RP Week, and the King of the Forums Contest. But there's a huge chunk of the year where we've got nothing and I don't like that.

I don't want to add a new event right now so that leaves moving the olds ones a little. The Forum Awards are an anniversary thing so they have to be at the same time every year (beginning of July). So, I was thinking of moving RP Week to somewhere around early November and then starting the KOTFC either at the very beginning of March or maybe in late February.

That ok with everyone? Any comments, suggestions, etc?

How about a contributions week, were we get forum members to help out, like making banners, link PV on other sites, typo checking and making guest comics ETC. The person/ people that contribute the most win...stuff.

Honestly I wouldn't be against a "Bow to Shauni and her Shauniness" day.
Or "Talk like a Silver" day.
Or "St-Swellow Baptiste" where we make a bonfire out of Swellows.

Heh heh... it would be great if we had a whole week of different days, like one day where you HAVE to talk in 1337... Because then new members looking thought the archives would be completely freaked out! XD

...But seriously, I'm fine with the relocation of existing events to more convenient time-slots.

Hmm... A contributions week would be cool although a bit hard to track and judge. A week of random 'do special stuff days' would be pretty cool, I'll have to give that one some thought...

A week of stuff like that? Sounds like spirit week... No one ever participates in that.

Actually, lots of people i know like spirit week. Like on certain days we could change our avatar to certain themes. Or we could talk in certain colors all day.

How about "Act Like Yourself More then Usual Day"?

We heavily exaggerate what we normally do. For example, every post I'm firing the lazer or praising Umbreon and/or Pepsi.

I think I could make it into a contest, and a pretty intersting one at that. I'll keep thinking about it and let you guys know when I've got things figured out. In the meantime, feel free to keep discussing it, could give me ideas.
