Guitar Hero 3 For Wii

Post by Prancing Mad »

So, I'm sure all of you know that Guitar Hero 3 will be coming out on the Wii.
I, though, plan on getting it for the 360

Here's the question.

Those of you with a Wii, or plan on getting one, do you plan on getting Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii? Because if enough of my friends get it for the Wii (And get online with it), I'll grab the guitar and game for the Wii so I can play with you guys.

This poll is mainly for me, feel free to not answer if you want.

It just means your scared... >_>

Heck, we could use this therad to talk about this game too.

PAINT IT BLACK = MAJOR PWNAGE Imo.

And lastly, here's 2 videos that have sound clips from songs that have been confirmed into the game, if you've never heard the song and would like to hear a snippit.

I'll have to see if there's any significant difference between the versions but right now I'd probably stick with PS2 since I already have a PS2 guitar and all.

Plenty of significant differences, such as battle mode, boss battles, new characters.

Here's all the info on it so far

Apparently theres going to be a demo for it soon, too. So, like, I'm totally downloading it. (Xbox 360)[/url]

I meant if there's any difference between the Xbox, PS2, and Wii versions.
wikipedia wrote:The Wii version of the game has several exclusive features, since a Wii Remote must be inserted into the guitar controller. The game will utilize the Wii Remote's wireless capabilities and accelerometer, like the guitars from the other versions, but will also make use of the rumble feature and the internal speaker, adding a unique touch to this version's gameplay.[24] While the Wii version will feature online play, downloadable content 'will not be available initially'.
Nifty but I'll probably stick with the PS2.

Well, if I end up getting it, which is unlikely considering I won't have enough money and I suck at Guitar Hero anyway, it would be for the Wii. Because the Wii just pwns like that and I need more games for it. But as I said... I'm probably not going to end up getting GH3 at all.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

you know, they should really put "25 or 6 to 4" in there if they want a really hard song. I mean, it could tie your fingers up during the solo

Its hard enough they put a Dragonforce song in the game (Yes, you play every note you hear in that song), why would they need to put harder in?

You know, I used to not like that game, even after playing it for a while, but now I'm almost addicted to it because I was challenging people at a few grad parties (and Best Buys). I'm definitely getting this game. About time Nintendo fans get a piece of this. Now if Virtua Fighter comes to the Wii, I won't ever need another non-Nintendo brand system again.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

And both are not so awesomely expensive (especially rockband) unless you want to get them without the special controllers which is kinda pointless.

Holy crap. Spectacular.

But I can only get 1% of the dragonforce song before it fails me.

Oh man, so busy! We had so many preorders for the Wii version of GH3 that there weren't any left to sell to the other customers! Plus, we only had 4 extras on the 360, but all of those sold in the first half hour. Man, today was brutal.
