I don't know what it's about. hoping one of you would...

Oi. I was kinda joking about the tan thing. And yes, too much of anything is bad. Everything in moderation. Especially AP classes.

Um...I don't know if that's humble OR the correct way to be sorted. It's probably a quiz or somesuch.

I'm planning to start the role play when I finished the 7th book.
But the thing is, I have like, 3 options for the role play.
1. We do it where we have no original characters at all. Not even the staff. We have to recreate them (but a new plot)
2. No original characters BUT the staff (Who have never met Harry or Tom)
3. The future from Harry's adventure.

Suggestions?

I prefer for it to be the future, after Harry's mad adventures.

If not that one, DEFINITLEY, DEFINITLEY not option one. Yeah.

Just as a side note, Sam and Max season one is a great investment.

Heso! Here's another thing to be taken in moderation: making new IPA. You guys'll see what I mean tomorrow... that is, assuming Stevenson and Josiah finish their battles in The Ocean. Finish them so I can show off my mad skills!

And I've read the Grapes of Wrath, which, trust me, could not possibly be any better than the others... given, it's the only one I read, but it really sucked. It's about this redneck family from Oklahoma that have to move to California because of the great depression. They're all complete morons that make chatspeak look like propper grammar and enjoy putting turtles in the middle of the road so they'll be hit by trucks. One of them just got out of jail for beating some guy to death with a shovel. It was easily the worst book I've ever read...

However, the worst book I've ever read the Sparknotes summary for was Their Eyes Were Watching God. Now, usually I'll suffer through a school-assigned book no matter how awful they are... but I couldn't do it for this one. The plot is stupid. The characters are stupid. They make The Grapes of Wrath people look like grammatical angels, and THEY make chatspeakers look good, so that says something. I swear, whoever decided we should have to read that crap for an AP English class should be ashamed of themselves...

This is why Silver doesn't like reading anything but manga.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! Are there a lot of famous Canadian books? In the US we read American and European stuff in school mostly.

I think the future would be a good time to set the HP RP.

Silver, you should try reading some fantasy novels.

Oh and fun fact:The final boss in the California Raisins game for the NES was called Grapes of wrath as well.

Yo! For good Canadian books I suggest reading the Silverwing or Serpent's Egg trilogies.

Well...I don't know who the author's are (I don't pay attention to that detail) but in grade 10 we read Catcher in the Rye (LOVED it!) and the Chrysalids (I probably mispelt it. it's pronounced Chris-a-lids) and it was the most stupid book ever. it was sci-fic for one, and there were kissing cousins! So the girl was adopted...she's still your cousin! And then people could use telepathy, and people would kill anyone who wasn't 'pure' (people mutated when people dropped an atom bomb and only Nova Scotia was safe from the atomic waste, and New Zealend) and it was just....stupid. Very religious >>

Last year we read...I actually can't remember >> But we read a lot of short stories by Canadians. There was this one that took place in Japan, and it was about a Hole...but the moral was what goes aound comes around. Karma, etc.

Happy Labour Day! Unfortunately, Labour Day is also a reminder that a new school year starts tomorrow. Stupid government forcing me to go to their stupid schools because I'm under 18... Fortunately, that also means that Dad's having a Labour Day hamburgur BBQ!
I love hamburgers...

In my county, we're trying out this thing were only grade 9's go back to school on the 4th, and everyone else on the 5th. I think it's so the grade 9's don't get intimidated...because I SWEAR they get smaller each year >> OWELL My last year in high school =^_^=

Heso! Tomorrow's my first day of school, too... And I'll be in... grade... eleven...

Darn it! What happened to Sophomore year, anyway? And why can't I remember any of it?
