Ayame got over the fear of the sword, and decides to approach riku "hello? riku... r u ok?"

(short post, I know, but i wanted to get the RP moving again...)

((Sorry for not posting in a while, writer's block is pretty rough! ))

Aerial stepped into the arena wearing the robes her brother had made her and holding a katana with an emerald-green blade.
"This isn't dress-up, kid. Why don't you try fighting some pre-schoolers, they'd probably be a better match for you."
"Trying to get out of fighting, eh?"
Fiore huffed. "I'm going to enjoy killing you, brat !" She pulled out her weapon, an enormous spiked whip, and struck Aerial in the arm from nearly twenty feet away.
"Ouch..." The runecloth robes protected Aerial from the spikes, but the blow would leave a nasty bruise.

Fiore frowned. That hit should have taken Aerial's arm clean off. Despite this, she still kept her arrogant demeanor. "Give it up, kid. You can't lay a scratch on me from over there with that sword."
"Oh, yeah?" Aerial swung Kazekan, and a blade of green energy came out of the sword, slashing Fiore hip to shoulder.

"But... You're just a kid..." Fiore gasped before she hit the ground, unconsious with the serious injury.

"Good luck on your match today!"

"Thanks. Good luck watching!"

With that, Brent headed towards the main building.

Withing minutes, he met up with Dimitri, who was carrying a couple weapons. One was a large double headed ax, the other, the rapier from before.

"Couldn't decide?"

"Huh?"

Dimitri was staring at the sky; Brent had interrupted his train of thought. Seeing who had spoken, he replied, "Yeah. The ax is new and I wanted to try it out, but.. it may be a little slow."

"I would think so, it looks heavy."

"It's not quite as heavy as it looks..."

After talking for a while and showing off their weapons, they saw the main building ahead.

"Even though the ax is relatively light, I could probably outmaneuver it quite easily; you may have better luck with your rapier."

"Yes," he sighed, pulling out the smaller weapon slightly, so that Brent could see the blade for the first time. It glowed bright silver, even where the knuckle guard shaded it. "But I fear that, seeing my weapon yesterday, you may have come up with a strategy or something of the sorts."

Brent laughed. "Yes, well, you had a glance at my weapon too."

"That weapon could be anything from what I saw."

Ignoring that, Brent continued, "You're going to have to choose from losing, and having to figure out my strategy."

When entering a designated area for fighting, Dimitri dropped the ax off with one of the guards by the gate. "You ready for this?"

"I've been."

Both of them drew their weapons then. Dimitri had a rapier, as expected, which shone a bright silver which made the writing engraved along the blade stand out. Brent's weapon was a golden brown, with a few buttons along the side. On either end there were spear heads with connected blades on the side as to allow slashing as well as stabbing.

"This should be interesting."

Riku stood up from her daze and blood was pouring out. Her clothes were covered with blood and right beside her. The weapon that she had, Eassinoion, had the tip of it in blood and her gaze was in a wonder.

"Pain will take my heart and will die as others will."
"You fate will never last long enough. Take her life too and be done with it."


Moving closer to Ayame, she slipped and hit her head on the floor, causing her to blank out. The tub started to over flow and the blood was washed away. Yet Riku held Eassinoion in both hands.

[NabMaster]

"Here. You did good out there, you know." Erix handed Whern an apple as he took a bite out of another one himself.
"If I had done good I would have won. Even with Carmo you and that weird boomerang of yours beat me down..." Whern muttered as he slowly ate the apple.
"Hey cheer up. At least you're still alive. I could've easily killed you at any time."
Whern throws away the apple core and stares at Erix. "Hey, what materials did you use with Life anyways?"
Erix grinned. "I made it out of a special kind of turtle shell. It's supposed to be extremely durable."
Whern stares at Erix then bursts out laughing. "Wait, so it doesn't even have a special ability? It's just a durable boomerang? Wow, what kind of person does that kind of crazy move?"
"Well remember, this is my newest weapon. Death and Misery - and especially Misery - are dramatically stronger and more advanced than Life at the moment. I'm not going to say what they're made of, but I'm using Death in my next match. I'm probably not going to use Misery until the final rounds, it's too fun of a toy to blow it's surprise on some weakling."
"Sheesh, just hearing you talk about that stuff is giving me the creeps. I'm going back to my guild, so I'll see ya later! Don't you go and lose the next round in the arena!" Whern yells as he runs off.
"Well, I guess that's my cue to go back home too..." Erix thought to himself as he walked home and jumped into the tree to go to sleep. "What a fun game this tournament is. I wonder who I'm going to play with next...?"

By now, it was night time... and after seeing Riku collapes, she decided to leave the guild... notifying the guild master about Riku's condition of course "I wonder what was wrong with her..." She said "Well, in any case, today was boring... i want to fight someone!!! I want to try one of the weapons I made, esspecially the one made of dragon whisker..."

While she was thinking, she bumped into someone, and fell to the ground... "Oww!!"

"Are you OK?" said the man

"Yeah... i'm fine..." she replied "..... wait a sec! your that guy I met before the ceremony!! What was your name again? I remember, your Erix right?"

"Yeah that's right"

"I heard you won your match, congrats..." she said "oh yeah, I was wondering if you could do me a favour..... could I fight you, like.. right now... I kinda wanna test out my weapon before the match... and besides, I haven't had a decent fight all day!"

Dimitri took the first swing, aiming for the upper torso, Brent blocked the attack with the middle of the

spear, and pushed to blade outwards to counter with a swing at his head. Dimitri jumped black to avoid

the blade, then quickly lunged forward, pushing the spear head out of the way with the rapier. Brent spun

his spear outwards and used the end that wasn't pointed to Dimitri a second ago to push the blade away from his face, then jumped back as Dimitri swung again.

"You fight like a diary farmer!"

"How appropriate, you fight like a cow"

(I had to throw that in)

This time Brent lunged, with Dimitri barely dodging the swing. He countered with a swing at Brent's head.

Brent pressed a button and grabbed the ends of his weapon which were attached to the middle only by

chains, bringing them together, to catch the rapier blade between the spearheads, locking the blade in

place. Dimitri tried to pull his weapon out without success.

"Give up?"

"I have one more trick up my sleeve."

Dimitri forced the rapier blade to point at Brent's face, then the blade extended at an alarming rate.

Brent snapped the blade between his own when it was an inch from his face. The blade immediate stopped glowing, fell to the ground and started shrinking to about half it's original length.

"That was close... Good match!"

"Well, This sword is irreparable now..."

"Ummm... Sorry, would you rather we've fought to the death?"

"Nah, see ya later."

Dimitri turned down a different path at a fork in the road and headed back to his guild.

Riku started to walk outside with the moon high in the sky. The stars shinning down and with a look of wonder in them, Riku walked towards the fountain in the middle of the black guild. She didn't want to cry, but to think back to when she was happy.


Tears started to come on her face. "I hope the next match will be more interesting and less blood."

[NabMaster]

Grinning, Erix says "Sure! I'd love to! Whern wasn't much of a challenge so a bit of a game is just the kind of thing I need. So what kind of match is this? Just go until someone gives up or until someone draws blood?
Thinking for a moment, Ayame replies "Let's just go until someone gives up. It wouldn't be good if one of us got badly injured before the final rounds."
"Okay then! I've been meaning to try out my close combat weapon. It's called Death, because of a certain ingredient I put into it. So I'm going to keep the edges covered up so nothing happens to you." He says as he pulls out a clawed gauntlet with small corklike objects over the fingertips. "So, what are you going to use for our game?

Well, that's kinda bad cause, I wanted to try out my long range weapon.' she replied, pulling out a long staff, pointed at both ends "Let's go!" she said, thrusting her staff forward.

Erix grabs the end of the staff thats coming towards him and pushes it to the side as he runs forward, claws outstretched!

Ayame smirked at the dodging of Erix, suddenly spikes formed out of the sides of the staf, and Ayame brought the staff to Erix's side "Sorry if it hurts.." she said, the spikes then retracted again.

Erix puts a hand over his side and looks down at the blood. "She ripped my favourite shirt...I like playing with this girl." he thought to himself. After staring for a few seconds, he falls to one knee and looks up at Ayame with a chilling grin. "That was fun...let's play more sometime ok? But until then, do you mind helping me back home? That stick of yours hurts..." he says as he pulls himself back onto his feet.

Riku was walking down the road when she spots 2 people dueling each other. She didn't want to be seen, so she moved fast to the edge of the road and moved closer to see who it was. Hidding in the trees, she wanted to fight too, but didn't want to in the end.

"Hmm, wonder if this will be like the other weapons the others are using. See if I can figure out these two weakeness, and counter with my own for the advantage." She then paid attection to the fight as it went on.

Rin was walking back to her guild after getting some materials,when she noticed the fight.
Hmmm,Stay and watch,or ignore it and go home.I think I'll stay or else that voice will annoy me by telling me I should've stayed.she said to herself.
