mandi, silver, stevenson, im sorry about that. i'm just saying what the bible says. don't blame me, blame the bible. and my mom. she is verry religious. She walked into the room and happened to have read that you don't beleave in god. So she made me type what I typed. I personaly don't care that you don't beleave in god. I hope that this dosn't make things worse, but i read from somewhere that if you don't beleave in this religion or that religon, you will go to heck(again, don't want to see cheezdude complain). because we can't practice all religions, we will have the same fate and end up in heck.

in a compleatly unrellated topic, how many of you have taken geometry? is it really all shapes or something more? I just wan't to prepare my self just in case it's mind numbingly hard, and I hope it's not

I don't really mind the whole religious thing. I've had way too many people inform me that I'm doomed. It just rubs off after a while. Like Harry in Treawlney's class.

Konbanwa. I don't think Geometry's that bad. Can't remember too much about it, but I know I liked it better than Algebra. And there's really not that much fussing about shapes. Lots of proofs, like "Given that these two angles and these two sides are congruent, prove that these two triangles are congruent." Very annoying.

HAIL SATAN! [/rebeccahawkins]

Oh, what, that? I'm just saying what the demon codex says. Don't blame me, blame the demon codex.

You see how far that logic goes?

Ok, sorry, I'm done now. I've taken geometry-it's not just shapes, no. You get proofs. And some algebreic madness. Although shapes are pretty major. You might end up hating circles and triangles by the end of it.
And it isn't THAT hard.

Just as a footnote, I really don't want to hail satan or anything.

As another footnote, I'm really not sure if that's what the book is called or anything, it was just a guess, so don't blame me for wrong facts.

Venus flytraps for the epic win, make sure to not overfeed and give plenty of light to it though.

Epic win. It's like being winner except epic...indirect sunlight is what it need too. Give it live bugs if possible or if you give it dead bugs rub the closed "maw" exterior to stimulate the lil eyelash-like thingies and thus make it think it's alive.

Hi! Might as well make a couple comments of my own on the whole religious thing just because. But yeah, we don't need any big fights. Just to preface this in case anyone doesn't know, I'm very religious and I'm Messianic Jewish which means (at least to me, there are different definitions as well) that I believe in Jesus but follow many of the Old Testament laws as well (dietary, holidays, etc).

I don't think I'd agree that there's some good in everyone. Most people sure, but there's some (say Hitlar for example) that I'd say are totally evil.

The Bible doesn't exactly say if you don't believe in God you go to heck (not the right word but you know what I mean). In fact, it doesn't exactly say that everyone who believe is "saved" either. You can do some heavy research (looking at the original langauge and all that) and try to guess but when it comes down to it, using only the Bible you can't make a definitive list of who is or isn't saved, we'll just have to wait and see.

Regardless of your beliefes on who is/isn't "saved", going around telling people that they're going to heck is a really lousy way or sharing your faith and will probably just annoy or anger the person. You witness to people much better with your actions then with cheap scare tactics.

And that's pretty much all I have to say on that.

Oh yeah, might as well mention 666 too. Now a days it's usually the "sign of the devil" which is from the Bible book of Revalations where it's mentioned as the Sign of the Beast. Actually though, if you research the original language and the history and culture of the time when Revalations was written it turns out that The Beast and 666 were codes to refer to Emperor Nero (the Ceaser of that time period). I could give a whole explantion but this post is already way to long so if anyone wants to know I can go into details another time. But basically Nero was a pretty nasty guy who killed a lot of Jews and Christians for no real reason. Speaking against him meant death so people of the time refered to him by various code names so they wouldn't be caught.

Haiba! Still need your supports people. The prank wars aren't THAT bad. Plus a few of the shock images used aren't as scary as they seem.

Yo. I go to a Catholic high school, but the existence of a God is a bit iffy to me. If I get sent to eternal damnnation because I don't believ because I don't have any proof that God exists, then that would make me think that God was a jerk-wad. I've always windered how free will can exist beside devine preordination, and darn it, I'm not going to stop now.
(No offense to anybody, just my opinion.)

Konbanwa!

Well, just before we end the religious topic, i'll ad my part :-P

For starters, I'm a christian, and next... If you want to save someone, don't go saying "Your to heck!!" cause... your not really strengthening your arguement at all... more like, annoying someone so much that they turn there attention away rom you... completely...

For me, I know that God exists, I know where I'm going when I die... I know that my soul won't just fade away into nothingness... and I do believe that there is more after life.

In regards to God's love... he loves everyone... when I say this I can hear people going, why is there so much bad stuff in the world... God gave us free will... and Adam and Eve chose to use that free will... to disobey him... so in result, the world became corrupt... If your asking why God allows things to hapen when he's clearly all powerful... he allows them to happen as signs... and to strengthen us... he will also punish those who do wrong things effectively... but it does NOT mean he's going to sit in heaven waiting for someone to do something wrong so he can zap them... no one is perfect, so he forgives us... and he sent his son to die for us... so that we can be saved... So I dunno who tried to share the gospel without mentioning that he loves us dearly... but he does... and even though he sends people to heck... he weeps for them... wishing that they would hear his call.. and follow him...

I'm not judging anyones believe, religous or non religious... i'm just stating what I believe... so yeah :-P

Man... I write a lot when I'm serious
