"I hate to say it but, If you're so worried about your position in the order Nadira, you should stick closer to the code. I didn't, but I didn't mind leaving either. But she is right, there's little reason to press the matter, other than for spite. And, unless you know of a way to find Necrid, I see little reason in continuing this discussion."

"Wait... Before you answer that, I have a question of my own. Why does he want me...?", Nadira asked, avoiding any eye contact with Thane or Nirak. "I know that I don't strictly follow the Jedi Code down to the letter, but... I have no intention of ever turning to the Dark Side. Necrid is a fool if he believes otherwise."

"Everyone has the taint of the darkside inside them. People like Necrid merely chose it over the light. He only wishes to tortue each and every inch of your body until you break and become his apprentice."
He turned to Thane. "I am to bring her to a nearby asteroid. We will be then taken to his headquarters. Why..." He smirked. "Planning to hitch a ride?"

"You know, sometimes I wish we were told things. Leaving a message with the bartender would have been easy enough. Noooo. Here we are looking around like some parents of a missing child, owner of a missing slave....it's annoying!" Wonkit said. They had been asking around the area if people had seen two beings resembling the jedi. All they had were a few sketchy details.
"Well, perhaps they had a good reason, like being in danger." Klank suggested.
"Yeah, I wouldn't be suprised, what with how cocky that guy is, and how the girl is so nervous you could scare her with a hand puppet shaped like a sith...."
"Aren't you being a bit harsh?" Klank persisted, feeling bad for the Jedi.
"Yeah, well, I wouldn't be if we weren't scouring the whole bloody area..." said Wonkit as he glimpsed around the crowd for people with keen eyes and sticky fingers, the type that always see what you want them to see-for a price.

"Hold on a second! This doesn't make any sense... Why does he want just me? You'd perfect as his apprentice and Thane is much stronger than I am. So then why is it only me? I don't understand...", Nadira stated, eyes wide.
It was then that she recalled something, something she'd long forgotten. During the attack on the academy, Nadira had been the last person to see Necrid's face on the vid-screen and she had outright defied him to the very end. The academy might have still been standing now had it not been for her stupidity. Of course, it began to make sense. By breaking her and turning her into a tool of the Dark Side, Necrid was punishing her for her actions from that day.
The sudden memory caused Nadira to crumble to her hands and knees. "Nevermind... Don't answer that one.", she said quietly.

Nirak walked over to her, grabbed her by her shoulder cloth, and pulled her to her feet. "Listen, just because I do the things I do does not make me 'sith'. I only use the powers to do something I loved to do. Yes, loved. Now? It's starting to bore me." He let go, turned around, and took a few steps away. "So. Are you helping me take Necrid down, or what."

Nadira looked up, her eyes more focused than they had been previously. "Well, I'm assuming that to do that... I must be the one to get close to him and do some pretty fancy acting, right? I think I can handle that...", she replied, pushing her hair behind her ear. Apparently, something had flipped a switch in her mind.

To Thane, the whole plan sounded a bit foolhardy. There were many things that could go wrong, one of the biggest problems being that he didn't trust Nirak in the least. Still, it was a good way to get inside Necrid's defenses and Nadira already seemed commited. It might just work, providing there was a good backup plan in place...
"Alright, we'll do it. But we need to get a few things first. We'll meet you back here in two hours. Is that acceptable?"

"Fine." He said as he descended the stairs inside the house, looking at the communicater he was given. He picked it up, looking at it, and then turned to the other 2. He pressed the button. "I have the girl. The other jedi is wandering the town carefully, so its going to take me awhile to get her off the planet." He said, dropping the comm on the counter.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"All right." Necrid's dark voice came over the comm. "Just hurry. The torture begins as soon as she is in my grasp..." The crackling of the comm stopped. He placed it down upon the counter to his right. He looked out the window, into the dark recesses of space. It always soothed him.
One of Necrid's lesser apprentices walked up.
"Is the betrayal ready?"
The apprentice merely nodded.

Ryan noticed Wonkit and Klank, and walked up to them. "Any sign of the Jedi?" he asked, carrying a large, somewhat heavy bag over his shoulder.

Thane and Nadira left Nirak's house and, after checking to make sure that they weren't being followed, Thane began to speak. "I'll tell you know, I don't trust Nirak. Still, his plan has potential, provided we have a backup that he knows nothing about. I have a plan, but I'd like to find the others before I go into the details."

"NO!" Wonkit semi-shouted, storming off to look elsewhere.
Klank stepped forward. "I'm terribly sorry, he's a bit frustrated...we haven't seen the jedi. I'm beginning to think they're in danger."
