Heso! I'm not entirely sure, but what I got from teh end of Wolf's Rain was that... they found paradise, but Darcia tainted it. So they ended up right back where they started. Somehwere between paradise and hell.
It's either that or it was paradise - Kiba's paradise, at least. He was the only one alive at the end... and if he were to actually find paradise, he'd get bored. He seemed happier when he had something to do.
Of course, I didn't write it, so my guess is as good as yours...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
