Since I have been pointed to... I honestly have to say that when I say that post, I just stared in confusion. It didn't make much sense, so no for me.

I'm not just saying this because I want to win. I think that it honestly wasn't a very good retort.

Also, I think we should have multiple threads for this. It's starting to get kinda crowded...

Since this is getting more popular, I'll consider giving it its own section so people can do invidual threads..

I see what Gar was getting at but yeah, it doesn't quite work as a retort. Point to Doodle!

Doodle - 4
Gar - 3

I was... under the impression that it was your turn.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Er...that's kind of an akward sentence........bleh....To be honest, I'd like to give Silver this point. If you had said, "There's somebody ELSE named Silver?", you would've gotten it....you had too much confidence in something that was way too specific. At least, I think so. Oh! And punctuation! An insult like that really needs an exclamation point! That also prob'ly would have won me over.

And doodleshark, that was cool. You get the point.

Doodle 3
Gar 3

Silver 3
Josiah 1
Unfortunately, Stevenson didn't like the wording of my last retort so you get to do another insult.

Oh. Right.

"You're about as talented as a bowling ball!"

The game now has its own board. This thread is now for rules, discussion, and issuing challenges. All current fights will continue in this thread until they're finished. All fights that haven't started yet (and future fights) will be held in their own threads.

*pokes Silver or Josiah to judge Opal's retort*

Oh, and Josiah's retort succeeds crazily. Throwback to the actual insult, very nice.

Point to Stevenson! Opal, your retort just doesn't seem strong enough.

Stevenson - 2
Opal - 1

***

Point to Doodle! Gar, your retort was too generic.

Doodle - 5
Gar - 3

So, if you want to play to 5 then Doodle wins. If you want to go to 10 you can although I'm changing the rules to five from now on just to speed things up.

And finally, to Silver...

"My swordsmanship is legendary!"
