Meanwhile Virgo, who had been flying down in case she needed to deal a final blow to Pyrogothica, found herself unable to completely evade its attack. Flying to the side, away from the center of the heat wave, she brought up her arms and spear, shielding herself as best she could. "Ouch..." she muttered once the attack had finished. "I hate fire attacks."

"Oh, like I'm going to let you get away." *Virgo muttered, surprised that Pyrogothica was still able to move so fast. She sped after it before it could hide and attacked with Heavenly Spear.*

He quickly used the Syphon Touch spell card then, jumping high into the air, he grabbed onto her shielded form and used the move combination that had defeated her mutated ice monster in a tournament not so long ago...* "Electric Heaven Electricuter!!!!" *Massive amounts of electricity flowed through Josiah's body and into Shauni while the health drain from Syphon Touch negated the damage Josiah would normall take from using that combination.*

Shauni's form went limp, and she collapsed to the floor. She hid the snow and remained motionless.
The snow around her body melted, and the ground looked burnt. On closer inspection, it seemed the air around Shauni’s body was unbearably hot.
Shauni came around, and struggled to her feet. The air around her began to glow, as if her body was on fire, but there were no signs of flames.
“Hellfire….” she muttered in exhaustion. “If you come near me…you will be broken down into code…”
She began to gasp for air as she fell down again.

"She said something about Hellfire... Is there anything you can do?"
"I can't seal Hellfire and we can't seperate it out and destroy it since it's a core part of who she is... I can heal her and see if that helps."
"Or..." Josiah frowned. "Maybe this would be a good time to try and purge whatever is possessing her. If we can get it out of her body we can destroy it."

As the static charge and spear approached her prone form, she launched a wave of feather towards the two combatants.
The feathers converged together to form a solid mass that Shauni hurled towards Josiah and Virgo. The Static Charge exploded as it connected with the decoy.
The spear attack was more successful. The mass of feathers became dust as it took the full force of the static.
Shauni had to suddenly freefall in the middle of her flight to dodge the spear.
Shauni struggled to regain control of her fall. She threw out a monster card while she did, to keep Josiah and Virgo occupied while she corrected herself.
Mirage appeared from the card, and quickly took on the form of Electric Ultimate.

Josiah frowned as Mirage's transformation. He knew she couldn't match his speed or power but it would to see just how close she could some. But right now freeing Shauni was his top priority and he didn't want to give her too much time to recover. "Virgo, if you don't mind..."

Instead of trying to dodge or counter, Virgo let Mirage strike her. "Lesson number one," she said as she grabbed Mirage's arm, "if your opponent is letting you hit them, then they probably have a plan." While Mirage tried to pull free, Virgo began striking repeatedly with Heavenly Spear.
Meanwhile, Josiah's attack blew apart the feathers but failed to reach Shauni. "Electric Pillar!" he called as he snapped his fingers, causing a pillar of electricity to form around Shauni.((Electric Pillar: Instant activation, unblockable. A cylinder of electricity forms around the target, continuously electricuting them.))

As the Electric Pillar surrounded her, Virgo teleported before much damage could be done, appearing next to Josiah.
"You couldn't have broken out?" he asked curiously.
"I could have, but this was easier." she replied as she headed back towards Mirage.
Turning his attention back towards Shauni, Josiah decided to try another melee attack. Charging both his hands with electricity, he sped towards Shauni. "Dual Thunder Punch!"
