ROM 2: Zodiac Legends

Shauni threw out Pirogoth
"Use Soviot Slox!" she yelled
The griffen flew towards the twins, past josiah and hit them with the fire ball, but it was refelected and hit pirogoth insted
She went rolling across the floor, past Josiah again, and hit the far wall of the palace
Shauni ran scrwaming after her monster "Pirogoth!"
She slide across the floor for the last 2 foot and placed her arms around the deadly injured monster
"piro....."
"ahhhhhh! Thats it!" yelled Jeff "Dont upset shauni, ever!"
The twins began to laughed errily together "And you will stop us?"
"you might have beated Canser and Taurs but where a different story, we are second generation Zodiac cards, created by Moens own hand"
Shauni, hearing the name Moen, tured quickly to face the twins
"ive had enough of this, first Moen turns spirts evil, then he creates the chosen, now he has made you. You might think you are all mighty, but you underestimate us, we have the hacker on our side, the GOD of this world!"
She stood up, holding her PDA outstrehced "Ill have her turn you into mush!"
The twins didnt look impresses, and staired at shauni, making her nervus "what..."
"Why do you think we have struck now?" asked one twin alone
"What are you saying...." she said meackly as she lowered her hand with the PDA in it
"The hacker is dead. Her data tracks are no more"
"Shes...Dead?" yelled Jeff
"but...how!" yelled Josiah
The twins smiled and laughed again, finsihing after 20 seconds they began to resight something together
"Was it winter"
"Was it srpring"
"was it summer or fall"
"And so ends the hackers quest"
"To make you all stand tall"
"Just to show that Moens reach"
"Threatsns all as well"
"He started by killing his creatore"
"And he'll kill you all as well"

"Moen killed her....." wipsered shauni
"You mean he has that kind of power????" yelled Josuah
"He can kill anyone conected to his world, and his world is that of cyber space" said the other twin
"Lighting! hahahahah!" they said together
"Thunder from looking glass! The monitor is his weapon, and he has decied to kill your families!"

The gamers all looked at shauni, she was partly a copy of the hacker....
she was white, like some had told her SHE has just died
They themselfs where horrifed, Moen could kill anyone on a computer terminal ANYWHERE

Suddenly David came charging in "NOT IF WE KILL HIM FIRST!"

ok, but I do always state who says things ^_^

"ahhhhhh!" yelled shauni "Way is nothing working! Jeff, do you hack thingy! Weaken them!"
Jeff noded, and without hesitation charged at gemoni witn his sword "
Crab Claw!" he yelled
But the two twins went speorate ways, jeff tryed to swipe at one and another, but missed them both
".....ah! Thats enought, I have had it with this" shauni stood up and her eys began to burn crimson
"uh oh!" yelled David
"Shes goin of on one! Take cover!"
Shaunis hair began to blow around furriusly as wind from noware belted into the room, forsing things of the walls and spinding in a vortex
"Time to make you see we are not to be played with!" she yelled
"Whats she doing??" yelled Josiah, who had retured to his human form
"I dont know! I think it an area manipulation thingy she was telling me about. I think we should all use our powers now! Will she has there attention!" added Jeff
"Crab Claw!" he yelled as he emerged from behind some fearnature
Josiah appred as well, silver and daivd ordered more attacks.
Shauni had both the twins trapped inside the eye of the tornando
"So you kill or only way out....now what" she spoke in a deep and sinister tone to the sister
The smiled as the crab claw and monster attacks struck them, without moving they began to disappere into dust before her eys, fixed on shauni
"One by one you wil fall, till theres none of you at all....."With that the dust belw away in the storm and the gemini shard fell to the floor

The wind slowly died down while shauni decended to the floor, the others had not hured the twins last words
And shauni would never tell them to them

"This isn't good." *Josiah returned to his original form.* "We need to take out Moenn fast but even if we could get to him without defeating the rest of the Zodiac Legends there's no guarentee we'd win. I fought him, he's far stronger than anything we've faced and if he's really found a way to attack people in the real world..."

"Damn, this is all out fault! If we had only finished the game and defeated him two years ago he wouldn't have gotten so strong."

"Don't worry we'll think of something."

"But where are we gonna go now? Gemini said that Amhal wasn't here so he's probably still alive."

"So we go find him and... Oh yeah, we have no idea where he is."

"No... If he really escaped then there's only one place he could be." *Jeff headed for the door.* "Follow me, I'll explain on the way."

shauni floowed last, leaving the room she had just devistated
The fact she was a computer virus hadnt bothered her for the past two years, she had just got on living peacfuly with Yomico at the village, traing
But after seeing the devistation she herself had just coused to this beautiful palace made her sadder than she had ever been before, sober and silent she followed the others, shame she had so long ago forgotten now retured to her....
They all left the palace and Jeff explained where the prince would be
There was only one place and that was.........

"...the Cave of Reflection."

"What's that?"

"Many years ago, a temple stood here. The Qlon monks trained the body and mind here. Eventually they were slaughtered by an 'Ancient Evil'; most likely it was the 'Zodiac Legends'. Only one of them survived, Amhal's grandfather. This is where we trained for the past two years."

*The saw a bloodied figure leaning against the cave wall.*

"Amhal... Twin Healing!"

*Jeff's sword began to glow and a beam of light flew towards Amhal, completely healing him. However, he was still unconcious.*

"He should wake up soon."

*Jeff notices that Shauni is frowning.*

"Guys, a minute alone please?"

"Right. Let's go guys."

"What's wrong?"

"This is all my fault, isn't it?"

"STOP SAYING THAT!"

*Shauni stood, shocked at hearing Jeff yell at her.*

"Look, you know the reason we're hear is because of the virus. Even after we found out you were the virus, did we abandon you?"

"...no."

"When we had a chance to leave the world, did we?"

"...no."

"So please, stop it... I don't want you beating yourself up. We will stop him; together."

*Jeff pulls Shauni's head to his chest. Her tears dribbled down his shirt.*

"...ngh... my head... Jeff? Why are you here?"

"We need to talk. Now!"

"But how did you know I was here."

"Well since you weren't at the castle..."

"You were at the castle? That means..."

"Gemini is dead. But Leo..."

"Leo? I knew it! Vormav must be Leo!"

"Vormav? Who's he?"

"He's Moen's right-hand man, of sorts. He's the one responsible for reviving these horrible beasts."

"So I was right in assuming the 'Ancient Evil' was actually the 'Zodiac Legends'."

"You always were good at connecting the dots weren't you? So you've defeated 3 of them, right?"

"Yes. Cancer, Taurus, and Gemini."

"Then it is time for the last part of your training. Come with me, Jeff."

"Go find the others an fill them in."

"Come back in one piece."

"Come on. It's me we're talking about."

"That's why I said it."

*Jeff follows Amhal into the deepest part of the cave. Shauni finds the others and explains what happened. All of a sudden a huge gust of wind...*

"So here you are! Following you was harder than I thought. But no matter. I've found you. Now you will pay for I am... Aries!"

"Crud... what rotten timing."

"Don't worry, we can do this without Jeff. Toshi go!"

"Yeah, I just wish I had a metal monster..." *Josiah shrugged.* "Oh well, I'll use Aquatica!" *He summoned a blonde mermaid with glistening blue scales.*

"Pirogoth!"

"Perfect Golem!"

"Acid Rain!" *The others called out their own attacks but Aries took them all without flinching.*

"Hmm, this will be amusing. Countless Sheep!"

"What the?!?" *An endless herd of sheep began running back and forth.* "That has got the be the stupidest attack..."

"It's putting our monsters to sleep!"

"Crap! Aquatica, Tusnami Force!" *Although nodding sleepily, Aquatica still managed to complete the attack, washing the sheep away with a giant tidal wave.*

"Not bad but now try a legendary attack! Shredding Twister!"

*meanwhile*

"Are you ready for the 'Last Trial'?

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"Very well... then draw your sword. This time we duel to the death."

"..."

"Draw your sword!"

"..."

"For the last time draw your sword!"

"...no."

"So you're saying that you are not ready?"

"If it means killing you then, no I'm not ready."

*Jeff drops his sword and kneels at Amhal's feet.*

"Congratulations, you have passed."

"What?"

"The final test was a test of honor. If you had attacked it would have shown that you are nothing more than a power hungry monster; but since you refused it showed that you have a strong sense of justice. Take this."

*Amhal hands Jeff a small stone shaped like a courtroom scale.*

"This is the Libra 'Zodiac Shard'. I was able to stop him during the attack. The others were too much for me and I fled."

"You are a true friend, Amhal."

*As they head for the exit, a strong wind pushes a large boulder over the exit. They are trapped.*

"...Excellent all is going according to..."

*Before he could finish, Jeff slashed his thorat. "Amhal" revealed his true form, Libra.*

"...how...did...you..."

*Libra collapsed and then disappeared.*

"...everything happened like he said it would. Why? WHY AMHAL? WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THIS WAY?"

*As tears ran down his face Jeff fell to his knees. He placed the tip of his sword against the ground and placed his head ever so gently against the hilt. He stayed there for 5 minutes in honor of his fallen comrade. Jeff replaced the fake shard with the real one dropped by Libra. Now he needed to find a way out.*

*Jeff searched endlessly until he saw some light. Below him lay the bones of a million soldiers.*

"Could this be... the dark world?"

*Jeff stood contemplating all that had happened.*

"The dark world... where all the evils in the world gather. Evil souls, evil demons, evil men... Why am I here... am I... evil?"

*Suddenly a monster attacked!*

*Shredding Twister hit hard, KOing everyone's monsters.*

"Where's Jeff?" *Shauni summoned Yin Yang.*

"Forget Jeff already! We can still win this! Electricutz, Thunder Ball!"

"Ragnarock Power Surge!"

"Heune, Metal Horn!"

"So someone does have a metal monster. Ok everyone attack together!" *Aries stumbled but up in an instant.*

"Zodiac Blast!" *The attack struck Heune dead on, KOing it.

"Impossible! Heune is strong against wind attack!"

"Ok enough is enough! Raydion merge with me and form... Perfect Light! Now take this! Wrath of God!"

"He's weakening! Keep it up guys!"

*After several minutes of constant attacks, Aries finally fell.*

"Whew." *Josiah returned to normal.*

*Shauni picked up the zodiac shard, intending to give it to Jeff later.* "Come on guys." *She headed into the cave.* "Let's go see if Jeff and Amhal are done yet."

*Jeff had been fighting of lesser monsters for the better part of an hour. It seemed the onslaught had stopped when suddenly...*

"Reverse Excorsism!"

"arghhhh...."

*A vampiric warrior had bitten Jeff on the neck. From his (Jeff) back sprouted two large wings. His eyes now glowed a bright red.*

"This power... it's amazing. VAMPIRIC BLOW!"

*A wave of dark energy flew from Jeff's hands and obliterated the vampire.*

"I'll rule the world! Noone ((Not a typo.) can stop me!"

*Jeff flew down into the chasm, his body eminating dark energy. Every monster that attacked was destroyed instanteneously. Was all hope lost?*

END OF CHAPTER 3

CHAPTER 4: FREE JEFF!

*After purging the entire Dark World of what Jeff called 'weaklings', Jeff returned to the cave's entrance, which was still blocked by a boulder. With his new power Jeff destroyed the boulder.*

"Jeff!"

"Ah... Josiah, my old friend. How are things? Do you like my wings?"

"What happened to you? Where's Amhal?"

"Amhal was dead before we got here. But enough chit-chat. I have to go find the other 'Legends' and gain their power. With it the world will tremble before my awsome power. Don't worry though, I'll spare your miserable lives. Until later..."

*Jeff flies away and Shauni breaks into tears.*

"Oh god... what happened to you Jeff. You said you'd never leave me..."

*The others stood around with their heads hung.*

"We have no choice. If he is truly evil, we must destroy him."

"What the heck is going on? What happened to Jeff in there?"

"I don't know but I don't like it. Something is serious wrong, we have to follow him and we may even have to fight him."

"But Josiah!"

"No, he's right. It's what Jeff would want us to do."

"Quick then before he gets too much of head start. Dark Wing go!" *The group used their flying monsters there were still in fighting shape and took to the sky.*

"Darn it, where did he go? He must be pretty fast."

"I can sense him" *Shauni was looking oddly calm and almost unemotional.* "He's to the east."

"Wait! There's a shrine down there! Let's heal our monsters first, I want Toshi back." *Silver was riding uncomfortably behind Josiah on Dark Wing.*

"Ok, but make it fast." *The group landed and quickly healed their monsters then took to the air once more.*

"Just a little futher... Down there!" *They watched as Jeff single handedly obliterated a large fish like monster, most likely Pisces.*

"Jeff, what the heck is up with you?" *Josiah was the first to land.* "Snap out of it. What happened in that cave?"

"Heh, you wouldn't understand but this is my true self. I will destroy them all and rule this world. The Zodiac Legends, Moen, and even you if you get in my way."

"Sorry Jeff, but we won't let that happen!" *Shauni was crying even as she spoke.* "Go Pirogoth!"

"Wait, let me handle this, I have an idea. Raydion merge with me and form...Perfect Light!" *Jeff stepped back, a dark aura surrounding him as he prepared for battle.* "No hard feelings, but I can't let you go any futher. Holy Blades!"

"Dark shield!"

*Josiah's attack fizzled and disappeared.*

"Hell Sphere!"

*A large sphere enveloped all of them, including Josiah.*

"That should hold you for awhile. Next time you won't be so lucky! Just to make sure though, DE-sense."

*Jeff flew off into the fog.*

"I... I can't sense him anymore. Why, Jeff? Why must I suffer?"

*Shauni fell to her knees, unable to move. She was paralyzed with sadness.*
