Post by Celebifly »

Welcome to Advance Pokemon Morph, or APM RPG!

This game will be a different type of game than IPA. Instead of having IP's, you will be a pokemorph! Develope powers in order to stop the bad people of Team Swank! But instead of them being morphd, they will have a veriaty of pokemon, IP's, and APM's.

It is your sole mission to defeat the Swanks and to take down their leader; Dawn!

To take part of the game, please post your character ref here:

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Background:
Sprite:

You will not be part pokemon yet. That will come later ^^

Just a quick ref of people managing this game
Top person in charge Celebifly
Spriter Silver

More people may take small parts in this game if needed.

Here's the intro to the game to help get you understading

The Montage region had a lot of histroy to it. Ever since Mr. Naom and Mr. Casablino created the first Impossible Pokemon, technology jumped a generation. Soon Impossible Pokemon evolved into Impossible Pokemon Advance, or IPA's. Some still called them IP's for short. Then one day a fire broke out that came from an unknown source, destroying all the technology. Or so some thought. From several incidents, a new breed came forth known as APMS, Advance Pokemon Morphs. It is said that the creator didn't want the information of it to leak out, but unforunately, a birdy told someone and soon it exploded all across the area. A team rose up only known as Swanks, lead by a girl with a name of Dawn, came forth and decided to control the outbreak of APMs. They crashed into the Montage region were the remaining APMs lived and tried to capture them all. They developed special Swank balls that will allow them to capture half pokemon, half human hybrids. Now a small number of humans stepped forth to take down the Swanks before they can harm anyone else.
Will it be you?

Aside from the perceived dirtyness of the name "Swank Balls", I'll try to cobble up a character for that game. I have no idea what to do for background though.

Background hints:
Their mom and dad were scientists for Naom
Their parents were turned into APMs and want to find a cure
They read about the Swanks and came to Montage to fight them
or,
They were walking around the area one day and got caught up in the whole mess.

Well, I WAS appointed as the official spriter... gimme a description and I can take care of it. *Is so using the Sora sprite* *Mayonnaise'd*
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Sure - no problem. Probably by then we'll have hopefully more than half of the people with full descriptions and sprites.

Name: He only answer to Nic, real name unknown.
Age: 19 years old.
Gender: Male.
Background: He was living his happy life then suddenly he learned that team Swank used what was called "Swank Balls". Finding the name rather hideous and icky he sets out to kick their collective asses.

Ehm...well, I really haven't thought it out....

well, he's a french artist. Like, he's really french. He's got the striped shirt, the bouler, everything the sterotypical frenchman wears in movies. So yeah.....

Some default sprites can be found here and here. If you are looking for a custom sprite, ask Silver. He'll do it since he's incharge of sprites here.

I have a feeling that will need to be editted because I don't exactly pay attention to the stereotypical style of Frenchmen, but there it is.

And, uh... sorry this took so long... but see, when I went to make it, I noticed that the Bug Catchers had suspiciously Straw Hats. And on that note... I am definitely using this sprite.

I'll join. I'm just not on my comp so I can get a sprite, so I'll come back and edit this post when I'm on my computer.
