Since we keep getting spam bots (why they want to spam us I dunno)

there's currently one in Gametime (something about art institutes)


if I may steal an idea from the CAD forums it simply doesn't allow a user to post links until they have at least 15 posts...

or at least some additional security needs to be set
I was browsing Amazon the other day and I saw a robot uprising survival guide. Upon checking this guide I saw an audio CD version I smirked and laughed at the irony.

Not a bad idea. Until someone figures it out and puts 15 random posts up first but not many will be willing to take the time to do that.

Yeah, that might work... but what type of forum was that on? It might not be an option on phpbb.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

We do need to find a way to kill those spambots. I've killed 3 or 4 porno threads in the RP forum alone... one just now.

It'd save us a whole lot of headache.

I took a pretty thurough look through the admin control panel. Found some pretty cool features that I might do some things with later but unfortunately I didn't find anything new to help with spam bots.
