Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon RP

Since Shalto was a ghost and all, being thrown against a wall wasn't all that big.{and even so, shouldn't have happened in the first place *coughs and pokes OOC topic*}

"Right, distraction....I guess flying around would count, or is there something else you needed then?" he said, randomly popping out behind the small group around the squirtle and cydnaquil. Which was probably scary, considering that he was a ghost 'n all.

((OOC: Correction. Shalto was hit with Mud Slap, an attack that affects Ghost-type pokemon. And at the velocity Mud Slap was flung at, it did knock Shalto unconscious... on top of that, I'm following the old Gold and Silver rules. I've never had the time to play Ruby or Sapphire, so I would not know about special abilities. On top of that, Shalto would not know how to make himself intangible right away. He could have been quite solid when the attack hit him.))

((Technicalites aside... *backhand slaps Stevenson* Being a ghost-type, knockouts aren't as severe, so I can work with that post.))

Mikey just gave Shalto a look. Being a pokemon now, much of his human insecurities had dissolved, so Shalto's constant appearing out of nowhere was merely an inconvenience.

"If you wanna give it a shot, go ahead. We'll need the help." Mikey replaied to the ghastly, "Just don't get dragonbreath'd."

Kepi gave a startled yelp as Shalto appeared behind her, somehow tripping on her excessively long "pants." As she teetered back and forth, on the verge of losing her balance, she accidentally triggered her psychic powers, which she still didn't have very good control over. As a result, a nearby stone lifted off the ground and flew through the air. The Ralts noticed it collide somewhere near the Onix's tail just as she overbalanced and fell over. "Whoops..." she muttered, struggling back to her feet. "I hope I didn't make it madder..."

Zanther didn't know what to do now. The Onix was just now "standing" there looking at the group of pokemon that were now infrount of him. A ghost pokemon was flying around the Onix and a Ralts tried to help. A Pidgy was also flying about. Zanther was trying to think of something to do. He really didn't know what attacks he knew or even how to do them.

He turned to the Squirtle and Cyndaquil. "Um, so have anything in mind for us to do to distract this thing?"

"I can't just stand here and let this roleplay die... All the previous Pokemon roleplays have at least made it past three pages! So I'll do the only thing I can... POUND!" Russel shouted, jumping up onto the Onix's head and hitting it with his big poofy tail. Being a normal attack, it didn't do too much to the Onix... except make it even more mad, that is.

Zanther for some reason thought of something that might cause the Onix to calm down. Why he thought this might work he didn't know. Though it could just make it madder. Zanther used Grow at the Onix.

Ryu closed his eyes, concentrating hard, as he opened his eyes once more, glowing yellow as he casted a Leer on the Onyx

Zanther kept up his Grow attack. It seemed to be having an effect on the Onix. Zanther was sure if it was a good or bad effect. That he'll just have to wait and see.

With all the persistent pounding, the Onix failed to notice the turtleshell scaling its rocky hide... until Mikey starting clinging for dear life on Onix's horn.

"GEEEET OFFFFFFF!" Onix roared, whipping his head around.

"BUBBLE!!"

At close quarters, Mikey's anemic water attack was enough to penetrate and Onix's defenses. In pain, Onix managed to fling off Mikey, sending the tutleshell hurtling into the ground.

Dazed, Mikey poked his head out of his shell with spirals in his eyes.

"CHaAaArrrGee!!" he squeaked out before passing out from the impact of meeting the ground.

Zanther's voice was beginging to give with the Grow. He stopped useing it. He was trying to remember what other moves he might now. "Wish I knew what to do next."
