My excuse is "I usually don't turn on my laptop until I finish any and all homework I can complete without the use of the computer, since once that computer's on, I'm usually on Ragnarok or something AKA procrastinating."
Long, yes.
Additionally, I'm trying to invent two new roleplay characters. I'm having a handful of problems there. Also, my Japanese class is teaching stuff about Japan to a group of seventh graders in an attempt to get them interested in joining Japanese 1 next year. That project has got me very busy. Then there are the projects in English and science classes. @.@
I WILL attempt to keep up with RP week though. I'd feel bad (and a bit stupid) if I bog down a roleplay because I don't post.
Oh yes, and before I forget...
Konban wa.

Hi! That reminds me, I should get the Japanese word thread going again soon... Well, sometime this week anyway.
Anyway, the way my schedule is I'm working and/or inclass from about 10-2:30 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and then I have monday and friday to do my homework and all that kind of stuff. Not too bad of a set up. Although, I should probably see how much homework I'm gonna get before I say that... Some classes give insane amounts.
On the topic of RPs, I have some posts to make but they'll have to wait until later today since I have to leave pretty soon for my internship. I should be able to get on in the afternoon or evening.

I was wondering if we could extend RP week....mainly because, three day weekend, even if I am going to spend the majority with friends, means I have actual time to think up RP posts. Right now, I have a Latin (which I have to revive the thread of) and an AP World History test to study for.
Stevenson's Vocabulary Word of the Week:
Foment: (verb) To excite or arouse, i.e. 2014's Week of Randomness hopes to foment some activity on the forums.
Stevenson's Latin Phrase of the Week:
Brutum Fulmen: (senseless thunderbolt) This phrase, coined by Pliny the elder, is used to refer to an empty threat.

Wow. What a lousy time for an Ice storm then.
Apparently an Ice Storm is forecasted tonight. So, if I don't appear for a few days, Power went down. So I'll try and keep up with RPs as much as I can, and hope that the power doesnt go down.
Howdy.

Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?

Hi! I'll be doing a lot of posting tonight, RPs, other stuff, starting my new RP/Game, etc. I would do it now but there's work to be done.
In other news, I got an estimate on repairs for my car. Good thing I have insurance. Too bad I don't have a lower deductable. Although what bugs me more is that I'll probably be without a car for a week-week and a half. I can get by but its still a pain.

Quan-su! This is interesting. Apparently Sega is threatening to sue YTMND unless they remove all Sonic-related content from their site. In response YTMND releases a short rap badmouthing Sega for their lawsuit. If I were a betting man I'd say YTMND is gonna die this year.
Hi! I'm just about to start on all that posting I promised.
Commenting on Atma's post... In general game companies don't seem to mind their characters, sprites, and the like being used on the net by fans. After all, it's free publicity really. On the other hand, the companies have their image to think of too so someone uses those characters in the wrong way, especially characters that are thought of as for all ages like Sonic, that's asking for trouble.
This wide screen moniter is really going to take a while to get used to...

But doesn't that violate the whole "Freedom of speech" thing? I mean yeah the rap was uncalled for, but come on.Josiah wrote:Commenting on Atma's post... Hi! Nice to see the forums looking alive again. Guess we're finally getting over the holiday deadness. *brick'd for making up a word*
Replying to Atma: I took a class on copyright law. There are some restrictions as to what you can do with some one else's copyrighted stuff. Free speech isn't a free ticket. For example I couldn't do a TV commercial with Sonic telling everyone to go visit www.pebbleversion.com without getting Sega's permission.
