"If you're confident you can beat me, then come and get me."

Prexus let out a roar as he charged toward the ninja. He swiped his massive claws toward the man, But in almost a split second, the ninja blocks the attack, flips over him, and hits the collar. Prexus growled.

"You're using a blunt blade..."

"Can't goin hurting my partner now. Can I."

"What are you talking about?", Prexus snarled. "I have no partners and only one Master."

"You're mistaken. That oozing collar is controlling you and supressing your past memories. Why not let me remove it for you?

"Not going to happen." He lunged at the ninja, claws seeking to tear flesh.

Silver had been peeking outside through the door of his tent at the commotion going on outside. Ambushed again... it hardly seemed like they ever got a break. Though, he knew it was to be expected when they were basically starting a war...

Not getting off that train of thought, he decided he should probably get involved in this fight, since a lot of others seemed to still be asleep, but still waited for a better time to do so - that being when he wouldn't be noticed leaving his tent. He could handle himself quite well in hand to hand combat, but really didn't want to have to... so sneaking up on someone would be much easier.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

The werewolf hopped back as a sudden burst of flame exploded in front of him.

Raven strolled casually up beside the newcomer.

"This must be the leader of the group." The mage said, summoning arcane magic.

"His name is Prexus. The collar on his neck is controlling him. If we break the collar, the others will flee." The ninja explained to the mage.

"Hmph." Raven snorted as he shifted to battle position. "Easy."

Prexus growled as he lunged at the 2.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Morale was quickly falling for the midly trained soldiers in the camp (Not the ones you guys are using). This had been their first true battle. They weren't prepared. A few of them ran away, horrified of the chaos. It appeared as though the enemy had won the battle.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the crusaders turned to his right, noticing the shadowing Artemis was distracted with a fellow crusader. He took this opportunity to strike at her.

His blow was stopped by the well timed placement of a staff.

The soldier stumbled back in surprise, only to see an angry looking dragonian in front of him.

"You know, that isn't right." The dragonian said as he swung the staff, smacking the soldier hard in the hand, forcing the crusader to drop his weapon. The dragonian then proceeded to spin around, swinging once more, slamming the staff hard into the side of the crusader's face. The man toppled to the ground in pain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raven hopped back swiftly, holding his arm, where Prexu managed to land a strike. He cringed in pain.

Yektai took the split second of Prexus' minor distraction, and swung at wolf's neck, aiming for the collar.

The werewolf sensed the sword coming down, and ducked, the sword merely flying over him. He quickly turned to his side and nailed the ninja hard in the chest with his fist.

He flew back, landing on his feet, and holding his chest. There was definatly a few broken ribs. But he wasn't going to give up.

Artemis blinked and looked down to the two soldiers that had fallen from behind her. She didn't have time to think about it though, as there was still a crusader in front of her. He brought his blade down, but Artemis side-stepped and brought her own blade in from the side. The blade tore into the man's shoulder and he cringed in pain. Artemis took the opportunity and struck him hard on the back of his head with the flat of her sword. He went down. Artemis looked up and her eyes widened in suprised as she saw a very familiar dragonian standing behind her, taking care of another crusader. "Tikawa..."

Gil had joined in the fight when their numbers were slowly dwindling down. He was using his dragon strength to take down two or three crusaders at a time.

Prexus was beginning to believe he'd win even if he had two annoying opponents to deal with. He sped towards the mage and jumped up for an arial strike, bearing his claws.

Sensing a need for more help, Acantha shifted form again. The rattlesnake's form blurred, grew much larger, changed; a jet-black tiger with barely visible stripes leaped onto the nearest SC soldier. His cry of surprise was cut off as she swatted him with one massive paw. Something snapped. His comrades charged at the large cat, but she jumped fluidly above their swords and landed on two of the men at once, knocking them both into a third and rendering them all out of the fight.

One soldier got a hit in, and the tiger drew back, snarling. A gash about half a foot long shone on her right flank, glistening wetly in the moonlight. She leapt again as the soldier charged, planting both forefeet on his shoulders and knocking him down. Another gash, shorter this time, appeared on her left shoulder. After swatting the soldier to knock him out, Acantha padded off, slit-pupiled eyes flicking from side to side. No other SC here. Silently, the tiger slipped into the night, seeking another knot of soldiers to fight.

Aeria was sitting high in a tree, hurriedly creating more arrows. They were of lousy quality, little more than sharpened sticks with feathers tied onto the notched end. The feathers she took from a bag at her waist, where she kept any feathers her wings and tail shed. The string she pulled from her sleeve. After a few moments, she slipped her new arrows into her quiver and took off. She noticed, below her, some of the soldiers from their camp fleeing.

Flapping her wings, the Featherite returned to the battlefield. Her first four arrows all met their mark. The fifth glanced off a soldier's armor and struck another in the foot. As the first soldier looked around wildly and the second hopped around on one foot, howling, Aeria fired another arrow. It lodged between the first soldier's shoulder blades and he fell onto his comrade, who yelled at him to get off. But Aeria was already gone, flying elsewhere.

After taking down another three soldiers using her arrows, she paused above a particularly crowded area and hovered there. She took a deep breath, then closed her eyes in order to concentrate better. A wind picked up, stirring the leaves in surrounding trees as the Storm Spirit she'd summoned began to form. In another ten seconds or so, the fully-devoloped attack would envelop the area, tearing branches off trees and tossing men around like so many rag dolls.
(Artemis, Tikawa, and anyone around them might want to take shelter or get away. Aeria's above them.)

Tikawa glanced upwards, noticing Aeria. He turned to his allies. "Everyone, get near me!" He yelled out, holding his staff out in front of him as both him and the staff started to glow with holy energy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

"All right... I was showing mercy before Prexus. But now, it's on."

With almost blinding speed, the ninja lept forward, performing a flip kick, and knocked the wolf to the ground. He swiftly turned around, bringing up his sword, and jabbed it straight down onto the wolf's neck, stabbing only the collar.

"Ah, master Tikawa, it is good to see you. Metaphorically, of course." grinned Lash, dodging incoming attacks with spectacular grace, especially for one without sight. He had also taken to striking some of the less vicious and less feral soldiers down-merely knocking them unconcious by striking critical nerve clusters.

Artemis glanced up above at Aeria as she began to rain down arrows on the crusaders. Hearing Tikawa's order, she quickly struck down another soldier and ran to be near to him.

Gil also came to be near them, assured that Aeria's arrows would do their job.

Prexus gasped when the collar was struck. Darkness flowed outward from the sword entry point and the metal soon gave way and fell off of his neck. The claws and fangs that had grown in his human form disappeared. Prexus blinked a few times to focus his eyes. "What...?", was all he could manage.

Opening her eyes, Aeria finally let loose the Storm Spirit. The howling wind instantly swept through the clearing, blowing leaves into the air. Several branches snapped off the trees, not all of them small. Some dirt was caught up in the maelstrom as well. An SC soldier was whacked on the head by a falling branch while others were thrown into the air and slammed into various trees. The only unaffected spot in that entire section of forest was the area immediately surrounding Tikawa, where her allies were grouped. Any SC soldier caught in her attack was left injured, unconscious, or too dizzy to move.

Acantha paused after pouncing on another SC soldier several yards away. She heard several screams of surprise and a sound much like ripping fabric, only much louder and more cacophonous. "There shouldn't be many more soldiers left after that," she mused.

Tikawa held up the shield protecting his allies from the attack of Aeria's, keeping his full concentration on it. It would be a disaster if the shield dropped. He lowered his staff as the attack finished, the shield fading away. He stumbled a little bit, drained of magic, but knowing it was worth it.

Raven made his way back to the group, snapping his fingers and igniting the last Crusader on fire. He stopped walking and crossed his arms, looking at the ragtag group.

"There may actually be potential in this group..." He said with a slight smirk.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ninja sheathed his sword and watched the werewolf closely.

"How are you feeling Prexus?"

Artemis quickly moved to help steady Tikawa, holding his arm around her neck and her shoulders. "Hey... Are you going to be okay?", she asked, shaking slightly under his weight.

Gil couldn't supress some small smile as Raven gave their group what might have been compared to a compliment; their first one, in fact. He gave a single nod in acknowledgement.

Prexus sat up and rubbed his head, groaning. "Well, to tell the truth, I feel pretty crummy... What the heck happened to me, Yektai?", he asked as watched his friend sheath his sword.

"You seem to have been under Scarlet Crusade control, sir."

"Yeah, right nasty thing to do to a person. Course, so is everything else the Crusade does. Not really suprised. I am, however, suprised that there wasn't anyone else important along with this feral soldier here." he motioned to Prexus. "You'd think if they're using a slave collar they'd have somebody here to make sure they stay in line. That's basic Crusade protocol...." he got quiet after that.

"So, I'm feral, am I?", Prexus inquired, an anger vein appearing in his forehead. His hand reached over to grab the hild of his sword.

"Prexus." Yektai's voice held a hint of warning.

Prexus stayed his hand, instead standing up from the ground and dusting off. "Anyway... Now, I have an even better motive for slaughtering that Crusade leader. How dare he place that collar on me and turn me into a pet to send out on command! He shall pay!" With that said, he broke into an insane fit of laughter.

Yektai sighed. "You'll have to forgive him. He's rather unstable in the head."

Raven looked up to the sky. The sun was starting to rise. What a way to start the morning. He turned to the ragtag group that stayed. "Well, it's time to move. Today, another crusade leader dies. Who's with me?" He said, holding his hand forward
