ROM: Out of character

Many pardons. I would have continued the game myself, but my internet has been flickering and dying this past month. TT;;

I don't know if I'll be stable enough to play Simeon autonomously for a while. All we can assume right now is that he's left the children of Havenwood in the care of his son Joshua and Mahri is travelling with Simoen for security purposes.

That's ok Simeon, internet problems happen (and they suck, a lot). As for the rest of you, come on let's gets things moving again. This is the last of the main ROM series, we can't just let it die.

Question for Shauni before I make my next post. Is Mirage sleeping in the common room or in her own room? Also, is she still in her original form or did she switch back to Shauni's form?

Silver and I have been talking, and we were wondering if our characters can go out and have a little adventure by themselves since we really don't know how to get involved with the main plot right now. If so, can we run into a sin that we can obtain one of our cards from?

I don't see why it would be so hard to get involved in the main plot but hey, if it'll get you guys posting again then go for it. You'll just need to come up with a good reason to split off from the main group. Knowing Silver's strength, Josiah would be ok with him leading a small group if neccessary.

What do you mean, you don't see why it'd be so hard?! Shauni's off mutating, we don't have any aura-reading characters, and anything else we could possibly do's been covered by someone else; our only option is meaningless conversation at this point.

Nothing wrong with conversation but you could take charge more if you wanted or introduce new story elements. It's not like Josiah is doing much now, just trying to figure out how to get everyone through the quest in one piece. But, like I said, if you want to do a quest of your own go for it.

I took shauni way so you guys could do some plot development...everyone kept saying the plot was being run by a few people, I though if Shauni was of doing her own thing, the main group could do something themselfs

Well, I plan on making a post in ROM tonight to hopefully get things moving again but, in the mean time, we should think about what we're going to do if/when Opal leaves. I know we have a ton of NPCs already but since this is the last regular ROM (at least for quite a while) we only have to worry about them until it's over.

Silver seems like a good candidate for taking control of Opal. Although if he doesn't want to, we could all lend a hand or we could consider letting another person in to control her (say Artemis or Stevenson perhaps?).

I say we have an 'accident' in which most of the unused NPCs die. I don't who takes over Opal, but Silver is the best choice
