I agree but it would still be nice to have 500. the onlything I have a slight annoyance with is the training it starts of quick in most of the games but then it gets so 100 battles= 1 lvl or you have to fight a trainer that keeps getting stronger until they start beating you.
Takes me 5 days to level up to lvl40 from 20 and the other trainers go from lvl5-60 in 1

I agree, ive actully never trained my pokemon to go to Lvl 100.
Also, is it just me or did the company pass up naming on of there games platnem Version? (sorry that i spelled that wrong, if you dont understand what i spelled, its that gray matal thats really really rare, far rarer the gold, i think...) i would just think that since gold and sliver are rare metal platnam would be the very next thing. then again if platnam is such a rare matel maybe the'll be naming a later version that.

Lucky me, 4 pages long only. :P
I don't know what is platnam, but I do know platinum.
Lol, I rather have more than 500 pokemons to catch. Btw, it is not easy to come up with new pokes. I agree that training is something not very easy and very very repetitive...
D/P has a time feature and Calculator (not sure what is it for, evs??)
well, this is what I found, not 100% sure, you can trade with Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen, and Ruby & Sapphire.
ps: from my pov, there is nothing wrong with new pre-evolution, imagine you're in a completely new world. When you know everything, everything is new. lol, pointless ps.

How many new worlds can there be, and how come most of them only get a set of certain pokemon
yeah Kanto just happened through the natural course of evolution to only allow pokemon like charmander and Slimers to exist however the climate and such of Jhoto of course only things like Slugma's and Togepi's can exist..
I know I know everytime you bring real world science into a fiction game god kills a cat girl (sorry just wanted to use that quote)
seriously come on they can't suddenly discover new areas (or maybe they just ship some people over tell them to catch some pokemon in the area and train for a bit... ) and then random trainers get there for a while get all proud that they're strong now and then suddenly get a super ego that they must stay still to train against you...
I agree with Josiah also, I've been saying for years there needs to be a pokemon MMO
It's just kind of weird with Diamond/ Pearl and people who import pokemon from there Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald games, these people will have you know 60-100 at the start of the game and things will be thrown off (especially if they intend to have it "online"

I was browsing Amazon the other day and I saw a robot uprising survival guide. Upon checking this guide I saw an audio CD version I smirked and laughed at the irony.
Diamond Pearl will on on-line trades and battles but I think that's it. And, if past games are any indication, you'll probably have to at least beat the Elite 4 before you can import or trade in pok?mon from the GBA games.
As for the whole world thing. I don't think they're just discovering new areas (considering how many towns and cities they have it's more like they've always know about them). Probably more along the lines of the pok?mon researchers didn't bother to research the pok?mon that live on continents other than their own. Although, that doesn't explain how baby versions of some pok?mon aren't available in some versions...

Well, the first baby Pokemon were encountered in G/S/C, which is the first time there was a Daycare place that could take more than one Pokemon at once... they'd probably just never experimented with Pokemon Breeding before. And in the wild the parents Pokemon were all over-protective until they evolved. To get Azurill and Wynaut, they needed to be holding items which apparently couldn't be found in Johto (or Kanto for that matter), so there's that... the only thing that doesn't make sense is Fire Red and Leaf Green. If you have a Golbat that really likes you and stuff, it won't evolve just because Crobat's not in the Pokedex. That certainly didn't stop Togepi from hatching in the anime, or May from catching that Munchlax. Stupid FR/LG, screwin' up my whole theory...
Well. According to PE2K, we'll definitely be able to get Pokemon from R/S/E/FR/LG to D/P, but we'll have to get the National Dex first (Like in FR/LG), and we won't be able to put them back on R/S/wherever they came from after they've been traded to D/P. And only six Pokemon can be traded every day, and they'll get put into this weird park where they'll have to be re-captured. We basically get Master Balls for that, but they're still gonna be a pain to catch because the rarer the Pokemon, the longer it'll take to find them in the park.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I never heard about that whole park thing for recatching pok?mon before. Kinda curious as to where the site got the info for that. Can you post a link? Personally, I hope they're wrong. 386 pok?mon divided by 6 per day means it'll take 65 days just to transfer my collection over not to mention the time spent recatching everything. I can see them not wanting to have direct transfers but maybe they could do something like the time capsule trading you did to move pok?mon from Red/Blue to Gold/Silver.
As for not being able to get transfered pok?mon back to their original game, not a big deal for me. I have a GBA Pro Action Replay that I use to back up my GBA game saves so I just need to back up my Ruby or LG game, transfer my pok?mon to D/P, then restore my old save and I'll have all the pok?mon in both.

It's right on the front page of Pokemon Elite 2000 (which is where I said I got the info in my other post...) though you've got to scroll down a few updates. They got their information from a Japanese website that's linked to below the update in question.

Well, it says it's six Pokemon every 24 hours per gamepack; you could import six from Ruby, catch them, then get six more from LG in the same day. I happen to own Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, AND Emerald, so it's really more like 30 Pokemon a day for me XD
Of course, I also have no way of getting the Pokemon back after trading them off, so I don't think I even have 30 Pokemon to trade... I better start breeding now. I shall have a level five version of the first stage of EVERY POKEMON I CAN GET MY HANDS ON! Come, Ditto!

I always thought that it wasn't new pokemon, it was pokemon you just didn't know about because they didn't live where you were. I mean, the pokedex in Hoenn wouldn't have pokemon that were exclusive to Johto, because that would be useless. They only put entries that you could find in the refion you were in.

According to Serebii, you'll be able to obtain every single pokemon (besides the legendaries and the starters) in your P/D game, but only if you already own all of the games. For example, it's possible to catch Growlithe and Caterpie in Pearl/Diamond, but only if you have Firered in your D/S gameboy advance slot, and you can only catch Mawile and Seedot if you have Ruby in the gameboy advance slot, e.t.c. There are of course, version exclusives in the game, like Scyter, Seel and a few others are exclusive to Diamond, while Bagon and Speal and some that I can't remember are exclusive to Pearl.
