I wasn't too much a fan of CSNES. I got a lot of the jokes, but waaayyy too many non-funny crude jokes. I got to around comic 150-200 I believe, and I pretty much stopped because it felt like it was repeating most of the jokes. Anyways, I'll continue on to my comic...

This comic, I'm going to force (not really. If you don't really like it, you don't have to read it) yous guys to read it all. It doesn't have a lot of comics on, but I enjoy it. Why? Because the main characters are an Otter and Raccoon, my 2 favorite animals... *Kick'd*

Comic: Dume
Characters: Dume, a surfer-dude Otter comic relief.
Rand, the cigarette-addicted raccoon with the annouying roommate.
Favorite Comics: 3, 15, and 16, to name a few.
Plot: There really isn't a plot. Just randomness. Other than Rand and Dume are roommates.
Art: 8/10, definatly not the best I've seen, but still pretty darn good.

Hurrah for it being short so I can easily read it!

Well, first off, i see it as the overused 'two male roomates comic that has no plot really'. The only twist is that they're animals. Oh, the originality. It gave me some laughs, but still, two roomates with no plot? I don't think Celebifly will read it anymore.

Well, yes, as much as I'd like to see a plot that lasts more than two comics... It was really funny. And the characters are cool, despite being a bit (read: severly) overused. As for particular strips... I liked number 5 and number 24. 24 because it's about time some one realized that the possible side-effects for most medications are worse than whatever it's supposed to alleviate, and 5... just because.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

-Mayonnaise'd for Double posting-

So, um, It seems that Dume has been thoroughly discussed, and I'm not going to have a whole lot of Internet time tomorrow. Seing as I'm leaving for Stevenson's place, which could be anywhere from Minnesota to Tatooine for all I know. Any objections to me posting my comic tonight while I can? As in pretty close to midnight anyway since I'll be up doing a history project I haven't even started?

Go ahead Silver.

Hmm... I read Dume a couple days ago but forgot to comment on it. So, it's ok. Art is nice, and some of the strips are fairly funny. However, for me to get into a random humor comic the jokes and characters have to really click for me and Dume didn't quite pull it off. Plus, it seems a little too similiar to a lot of other comics out there. Not that that's neccessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't win it any points either.
