"Another one?" *Taizen and Joshua looked up as Silver entered the pub.* "This is getting ridiculous. We might as well send out invitations and start giving tours."

Karik stoped outside the pub, and pulled the hood on his windbreaker over his face. Wlaking into the pub, Karik noticed many people staring at him, probaly due to his height. He was used to it. Sitting at a table by himself, Karik looked around at the others in the pub. He quickly noticed a young boy, probaly in his late teens, who was clearly from Earth. Karik smirked, and started looking at the menu.

"Ah, you needn't be bitter about it, Taizen." smirked Joshua. "Think of it this way. More people nosing around here might make "them" more aware that we earth people know what we're doing. Wouldn't hurt for the common man to get a wee bit more respect, far as I'm concerned."

(I should seriously post in here...)

Cobalt paused on his way home, shifted his bookbag to his other shoulder, and glanced around him. No one was nearby. Cautiosly, he slipped down the alley he had fled down before, taking out a sandwich and eating it as he went. He'd discovered on the first day that unless he found some way to find that...other world's currency, he'd have to feed himself. He finally reached the portal to Polar. He took a moment to finish off the sandwich, scrutinizing the fire hydrant. It looked just like any other fire hydrant positioned on various streets. This was the first one he'd seen, however, not out on a curb. He dusted the bread crumbs from his shirt and wadded up the plastic bag, jamming it into his jeans pocket. Taking out his Nano, he walked into the hydrant. Instead of tripping over it, he felt a tingling sensation and found himself just outside a pub, in a small indentation in the wall so as to not attract attention when he materialized out of nowhere.

His dark blue jeans stayed jeans, but gained a marbleized (sp?) effect, with lighter hues swirling gently with the darker shades. The cuffs also widened to accomodate his white tennis-shoes-turned-boots. His t-shirt, likewise, ended up with longer sleeves (they ended around the elbow). It retained its original color of blue-tinted white, however. Additionally, his jacket transformed into a full-blown coat, reaching well below his knees. Very warm, although quite a hassle when the weather became hotter. The iPod's earphones, which he looped through his jeans' belt loops, transformed into a thin belt with a slim, compact sheath. The Nano in his hand altered in shape and texture to form a knife, about as long as his arm from elbow to the tip of his middle finger, including the hilt. He slid this knife (it resembled the Damascus from an online game he liked to play, so that's what he called it in his mind) into the sheath before deciding to take a look inside the pub.

Ransom though he had overheard Taizan's pitiful comment, but something else caught his attention, as well as everyone else's.

"Help! Dukaknights! They're coming!" A man thrusted threw the doors with a pale face. He fell face first with an arrow popping out og his back.

The whole pub stared awkwardly at the dight, as whispers aroused.

"Dukaknights? Isn't that a tall tale?"

"Who was that man?

"Are we in real danger?

"Where's my drink?"

Both T'kina and Ransom were ravelled in the mans appearence.

"Do you think they're going to attack Myraid?" T'kina whispered to Ransom.

Ransom grabbed his staff.
"Their must be something in here that they want, or someone...we may have to fight."

T'kina shook hre head. "No, not we, just I."

Ransom did an anime fall.

"No offence, but you're not ready to fight yet." T'kina unsheithed (sp? T_T) her sword.

Ransom mumbled curse words to himself as T'kina left the pub.

(Nya! Fight time! Which side are you on? And you may guess what the dukaknights are looking for.)

( Unsheated* )

As Shecil knew what was going on, he held his staff tight, ready to pierce anyone's body with the large spike on his staff if anyone plans to attack him.

He walked to T'Kina.
Tell me what to do, I'm a follower so I won't act by myself often. He requested.

{{Actually, it's unsheathed.}}

Joshua stood up. "Well, gee. I'll bet these kids won't last too long." Joshua chuckled to Taizen.

He pulled up his kusarigama and tightened the chain. "Guess it's time to collect my winnings, and make sure the dukaknighgts cover their losses." he grinned. "Never liked those guys."

Jaron was outside during the whole thing. He blinked, taking a few steps back, having seen the arrow impale the man. He quickly reached for the voulge tied to his back and held it. He had no idea what a dukanite was. But, he guessed they were bad...

"Duka Knights.." *Taizen thought.* "Could this have something to do with tonight? No... If it did they probably wouldn't have attacked anyone..."

"Tch, what a pain." *Taizen muttered as he and Joshua headed for the door.* "I bet one of those new kids got spotted. The knights will do anything to find unsecured portals."

"Doesn't really matter now does it? We'd fight no matter why they're here."

"I suppose. But if this scews up my plans..." *Taizen aimed a fierce kick at the pub door, causing it to swing out and slam into the wall. As soon as he stepped outside he spotted another person from Earth, looking rather shocked at the sudden turn of events. Taizen cursed then turned to Joshua.* "It'll be a pain but we'll have to watch the newbies' backs. Looks like there's four for each of us. I'll take the twins, that idiot with the dollars, and the guy standing near them." *he gestured towards T'kina, Ransom, Shecil, and Silver.* "Whatever you do, don't let any of your bunch die. The last thing we need are a bunch of missing persons investigations back on Earth."

"You make an excellent point." said Joshua. "However, I doun't suppose you've thought that maybe some of these newbies don't paticularly need our help?" he laughed. "I'd be willing to bit the girl with the sword over there could fend for herself. Not that it's really hard to do that with a sword the size of you, but still." he laughed.

Before Silver even got the food he'd ordered, an arrow'd man entered the pub saying something about Dukaknights. All kinds of obnoxious chattering followed, and about half the people inside left. Curious, Silver followed, holding his spear tightly as he slipped out the door.

Apparently, he was correct in guessing there was a fight approaching. "Finally! I've been practicing for something like this!" he said to himself.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

"Maybe some of them can fight," *Taizen conceeded the point, "but you can't tell just by looking at their weapons. Either way, we'll find out soon enough."

*A regiment of Duka Knights were rapidly approaching and, from the looks of it, seeing a small group of armed people standing in the road wasn't putting them in the best mood. Deciding to fight first, ask questions later, they charged forward.*

*Not waiting for the enemies to make the first attack, Taizen rushed in front of the others. With a flick of his wrist, a the chain hanging out of his sleeve extended, shooting out and wrapped around the neck of the man unfortunate enough to be leading the charge. Before his target had even realized what had happened, Taizen jerked his arm to the side, simultainiously unwrapping his chain and sending the knight spinning back into the ones behind him.*

"You picked a bad day to come here." *He growled.* "I'm in a lousy mood and I've got important things to do. You're just getting in my way!"

Cobalt blinked. He hadn't even made it to the pub doors before some guy with an abnormally pale complexion pushed abruptly past him. The junior almost missed the arrow sticking from his back, the guy was moving so fast. It didn't take long for other people to charge out of the pub doors, all weilding various deadly-looking weapons. Luckily, the guy in the lead missed him when he kicked open the door. Cobalt simply stood there for a moment, trying to sort out events in his head. It appeared that the people from the pub had rallied and were fighting a regiment of serious-looking knights. He had no idea which group to join.

One of the knights suddenly noticed him and started forward. Cobalt gulped and ran into the pub, hoping someone inside could tell him what was going on. He happened to end up next to Ransom. "Um, excuse me?" he ventured cautiously. "Could you tell me what's going on?"
