Interesting question. Personally, I never really thought of ROM monsters as magic (just like pokemon aren't magic) so I think Electriblast and its card would be fine although I suppose that could be debated.

My fused form is a bit trickier. From a story perspective, my data in ROM was merged with that of the main character who is the last survivor of a group of people that were able to form such close bonds with their monsters that they could merge together into one. Once again, I never really thought of it as magic but that's really all it could be I suppose. Let's say that the fusion would be undone while I was in the field but it wouldn't KO Electriblast. It'd just be like if I decided to unmerge on my own.

ROM monster to card=not magic? I thought it said it was magic in the comic, but oh well.

Just so you know, ROM Josiah prefers to fight with his monsters over his sword. Also, his Zodiac Sword skills are magic.

Oh, that Altima. No, my skills don't involve Altima. Although there was some FFT data floating around in ROM at that time, but no.

Electriblast is very fast, yes. If you want full details about it and its attacks check the ROMdex thread in the ROM RP forum.
