BTW: I'll be on for quite a while tonight (probably starting around 7 or 8 pacific time).

Well, I'm ready whenever you are. And I sort of rolled a six.

A six? That was on a d100 right? *joking* Oddly enough, I got a six too so I guess that means we have to both reroll. *rolls die* I got a three.

Oh, since I know you'll be reading this...

Ok then.

*draws six cards*

*sets two face down cards*

*plays Stray Lambs which special summons two lamb tokens (Earth, 0 ATK, 0 DEF) in defense position to my side of the field*

Your turn.

{{Ok, I looked this up. You oly draw five cards on the first turn. The second turn draws six.}}

I'll play Marauding Captain-1200/400, I can special summon another warrior card after summoning this card, this card must be attacked before another monster on my side of the field.

I'll also play Karate Man. 1000/1000, can double his original attack at any time, is destroyed on the end phase of the turn his attack is doubled.

I attack one stray lamb with karate man.

((You misunderstand. Basically here's how it goes. After the decks are shuffled and cut both players draw five cards as their starting hand. Then the first player's turn starts and he draws a card during his draw phase just like any other turn. That's why it's common for the first player to just draw six cards right off the bat since otherwise he'd be drawing the sixth a minute later anyway.))

*flips over Good Goblin House Keeping (trap) letting me draw one card*

*flips over Wall of Revealing Light (continuous trap, I pay life points equal to a multiple of 1000 and as long as Wall remains on the field I can't be attacked by any monsters unless their ATK power is greater than the amount of LP I paid when activating Wall)*

*I pay 3000 LP As long as Wall remains on the field you can only attack with monsters that have more than 3000 ATK*

*your attack is negated by Wall*

LP 5000

{{No, I don't. Sorry. On the first turn, you don't draw during your draw phase. It's one of the perks of going second.}}

Alright. I play reinforcements of the army, and add a warrior to my hand. I then play gearfried the iron knight-1800/1600. Can't be equipped with cards.

I play release restraint, sacrificing Gearfried the Iron KNight to summon Gearfried the Swordmaster-2600/2200, destroys a monster on the field when equipped with equip cards. I equip it with Lightning blade, so now it's 3400. I destroy both of the sheep, one with his attack, and one with his effect.

((First player does get his draw phase. Seriously, I've played in official leagues and everything. That's how it's done.))

Even though your attack was negated, you still entered your battle phase when you delcared your last attack so while you can summon Gearfried, equip him, and destroy one of my sheep with his effect, you're doing all of that in Main Phase 2 so you can't attack me until next turn and I still have one sheep left. Nice move though.

Gonna do anything else before your turn ends?

Ok then I'll... Wait a sec... *Double checks the last few posts.* You performed two normal summons last turn. Maurading Captain was your normal summon, you used its effect to summon Karate Man and tried to attack me. You used Reinforcements of the Army to add a Warrior monster to your hand but then you normal summoned Gearfried. Looks like we need to back things up a bit. Basically Gearfried should have never been summoned so both Gearfrieds, Lightning Blade, and Release Restraint go back to your hand and I get my destroyed sheep token back.

Riiight. See, what actually happened was that I for some reason thought I had two turns in a row. Sorry. *takes everything back*.

That's ok. It can be a little hard to keep track when you're playing on-line like this.

Guess it's my turn then.

*draws card*

*sets one card*

*sets a monster in face down defense position*

Your turn.

I'll use reinforcements of the army and play Mystic Swordsman Lvl 2.

900/0 automatically destroys any face down defense position monster on the field and does not activate its effect.

Out of curiosity, is your wall still on, and/or how much is it set to?

Wall is still up (I activated if before you incorrectly summoned Gearfried so it wasn't taken back). It remains active as long as the card stays on the field. It is set to 3000.
