Opal took out a cigerette while she waited for the results to be posted.
"I hope these tests get over soon." She yawned. "How you feeling Sharkan?" She asked her metabot.

"Haven't felt better." he replied. "I'm ready for another test!"

"Well that makes half of us." She sighed, taking a drag on her cancer stick. She looked at some of the other people. "Can you believe there's more guys than girls? How sickening." She hissed.

"Hard to believe Opal." Sharkan replied.

"What ever....damn, I'm out of smokes. I wonder if this kid has any. Hay, do you have any smokes?" She asked...Silver.

"I didn't think we'd do well in this test....ah well. Though I have noticed a corrilation. Most of the people doing relatively well are the same for each test. And there seem to be less scores posted every time. Thus...."

"Hopefully that's what's happened. But these medakings seem to be a very milatristic group....All I can say is, I hope we do well on the other tests."

"Eh, that turned out better than I expected." *Gyro mused.*

*The group was soon led back to the room were they'd eaten lunch and given a half hour break before the next test.*

"This place is way too big..." *Gyro commented to Tiern as they sat down.* "How the heck did they get enough money to build it?"

"Jealous?" *Flashcon quipped.*

"Hardly. What would I want a big underground fortress for?"

"Um, I'm thirteen." Silver replied to the crazy person that asked him if he had any cigarettes, "And you don't seem to be much older... well, have fun dying in one of the many gruesome ways that smoking tends to cause."

"Are you sure that was a good idea?" Antlan whispered, seeing how the type that starts smoking before they're legally allowed to usually isn't the type you want to offend because they're also usually the type that isn't afraid to break other laws. Like the ones restricting murder. Not that I'm big on stereotyping.

"Heck no. But when has that stopped me before?"

"...Good Point. Well, as expected, we didn't do too well as far as speed goes - in fact, we really sucked-"

"No doubt because SOMEONE was having a little too much fun destroying a certain steel wall."

"...Shut up. Anyway, we did well enough in Power and Strength to make up for that lousy Speed score and even the overall crappy score on the last test..."

"Did I say 'destroying'? What I meant was COMPLETELY OBLITERATING. There was freakin' NOTHING left of that wall!"

"I said shut up!"

Tiern sat down beside Gyro.

"Who knows, maybe they have some kind of sponsor?"

Hotshot stood in front of the scoreboard, tapping his foot.

"Power 30 and Strength 40!? Who were they watching! I so went through like, 7 walls. Idiots..."

He turned and looked at Tiern chatting with Gyro. He just shook his head and slid down against the wall.

"This day is getting worse and worse..."

Opal rolled her eyes. "I was just asking, jeeze..." She walked away from the babbling two.
"So, what now?" She asked.

"We have a half hour break."

"Without smokes! gah! SOMEONE has to have some....!" Opal gane a glance at people in the room.
"Hey, guy, do you have any smokes on you?" She asked Gyro.

"Sorry, but in my line of work breathing problems are the last thing I need." *Gyro glanced at Tiern.* "How about you?"

"Well that sucks..." Opal huffed.

"I'm sure these tests will be over soon Opal, then you can buy some more." Sharkan imposed.

"Yeah, and if not, I hope there's battles because that's the other way to calm my senses...or something like that..." She shrugged.

*Before too long the next member of the Medakings, a girl who introduced herself as Leonne escorted medafighters to a simple arena for her portion of the test.*

"My test will consist of straight up one on one battles." *She explained.* "In a few minutes that moniter on the wall will announce the pairings. This is not a tournament, there is only one round of battles so give it your all. For this test, I will not tell you what you're being graded on until after the test is complete. Also, keep in mind that winning, while important, isn't everything. This is a test to observe your skill, technique, and battle style, among other things. Once the pairings appear on the computer go to the ring number listed by your name to meet your opponent. You are not to leave your assigned ring during your battle and you are not to interfer with any other battles." *She turned to go.* "I'll be observing your progress from another room. Good luck."

((Double post but... Just an FYI: We can fight each other or make up guys. Doesn't matter. Scores will be based on your actions in battle, not necessarily if you win or lose.))

*A moment later the matchups appeared on screen.*

"Looks like we're not fighting anyone we know." *Gyro commented as he approached his designated ring.* "Ready Flashcon?"

"Of course."

"Then let's do it."

((Whee, running behind today thanks to a bunch of stuff I needed to get done this morning. You're all fighting random guys so just make up your own battle.))

Tiern and Hotshot just stood in there arena, looking around for their opponent.

A larger man, mostly muscles, walked in and smirked at the younger kid.

"Yer mah opponent?"

"Um... I guess..."

"Hah. Yer too wimpeh tah be a medaking. Rhinox'll take care 'a ye early..."

At the end of the sentence, a Medabot walked into the arena after the man. Its design made it sort of look like a rhino, but mostly because of the horn on the front.

Hotshot just laughed.

"Is this my opponent? This is going to be too easy..."
