But, despite all the weird stuff, I don't really regret going off on a pok?mon journey with May. It sure beats hanging out at my house or going to school."-

"I'll handle this one. You got to keep a couple things in mind. First off, most of the space in our packs is for Pok?mon gear so there isn't a whole lot of room left over for clothes. Although it's not like we don't have any extra clothes, we do. They just look exactly like the ones we're wearing now... See the store was having this sale if you bought multiple copies of the same thing so..."((Sorry, there's a one question per post rule. "I doubt a sandwitch would make a very good rival, being an inanimate object and all. Besides, we could always just eat it or something. As for Xain and Cali, they're really annoying and Xain does have a realy bad sense of direction but somehow they usually manage to stay ahead of us and they're not bad in a pok?mon battle (although they'd be a lot better if they actually had six pok?mon in their parties) so I guess they're not that bad as rivals."- Prancing Mad

To Brendan: You know the whole "world revolves around you 2" thing, right? Well, have you ever checked back to see if that person is still there later on? Like, waiting to see you?
Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?

"Well, those team Aqua and Magma guys sure were hanging out in the Rusturf tunnel for a while but, to answer your question no. Although, that's a good idea. I should try it some time."Can't believe I just thought of thisJosiah wrote:DMH wrote: Brendan: What is the main thing you have regretted about going on this thing?"Regretted? To the Birches and Brendan's parents: haven't you ever heard of giving your kids an education besides pokemon training?
DMH wrote: To the Birches and Brendan's parents: haven't you ever heard of giving your kids an education besides pokemon training?
"There's actually a fairly simple answer to this so I'll take over from here. First off, Brendan and May started their Pok?mon journey in the early summer, so there wouldn't be school anyway (aside from specialized schools like the Pok?mon academy in Rustboro). Secondly, being composed mainly of small towns, the Hoenn region doesn't have many schools (leaving many students to attend virtual schools via computer). But, all that aside, the school system in places such as Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto is a bit different from what you're likely used to. Schools here put a heavy focus on what they call 'neccessary life skills' which are things they believe everyone needs to know to get buy in life such as reading, writing, basic math, etc. These subjects are taught almost exclusively for the first six years or so of a child's schooling (although very smart or dedicated children often complete them in four or five). Once they have completed the neccessary life skills curriculam there are several options. Many children attend a secondary school to learn things that weren't considered essential enough to be covered during the previous years. Others leave on Pok?mon journies although many of them later return to school. And some go to specialized schools or take an apprenticeship of sorts.
Prior to leaving on their journies (or more accuately, prior to this summer) Brendan, Xain, and Cali were attending secondary schools in their home towns. May was taking some classes via computer but for all practical purposes she was studying under me as an apprentice Pok?mon researcher."
